Hello, this is my first post since joining this forum, although I have lurked here for a few years I did not make an account.
I'm looking for anyone who is knowledgeable about the ADHD medication Adderall. I was originally prescribed to it in January, started out at 10 mg twice a day. Through regular doctor visits my dosage currently sits at 30mg once per day. Adderall has changed my life completely. But I guess I'm just curious about the changes I'm beginning to notice. Before, I used to be motivated by it to clean the house and I'd have a bunch of energy. Now, I feel weak and sluggish, and although the focus is still there, the motivation to actually get anything productive done has greatly diminished. When this happens, I usually spend my time browsing internet forums, Googling random things, and basically everything not productive. Does this commonly happen to people after taking Adderall for an extended period of time? Also, when I first started taking it, I'd LOVE to organize. Whether it be class notes, DvDs on the shelf, or my closet, I just loved to organize things. I've also realized I don't feel that desire to organize. I understand that the main aspect of this drug is to focus, which it does that. But I think I enjoyed being productive more than being focused, which I guess go hand and hand you'd think, but I focus on stuff that does not matter. Does anybody know why this is? I noticed it originally begin to happen when I was prescribed 40mg Vyvanse (1x a day) earlier this month, but I asked to switch back to Adderall.
Another question I have is if redosing later in the day has differences than taking it the first time that day. Hypothetically, if I took 30mg at 10:30am, then another 30mg at 6:00pm, would there be any noticeable changes in the effectiveness of the drug?
Thanks in advance for any answers, all are welcome!
