I have a question about the possible risks of higher dosages 2-FMA. You said my use is ‘not reckless’. I’ve read stories about people using 100mg+. What are the consequenses of such high amounts? And what would that do to the MDMA experience? Just trying to understand all possible scenario’s.
Ok, so 40mg of 2fma are not a conservative dose, but not an hedonistic/recreational dose either.
So, you're likely going to be able to get work done more efficiently, while on 100mg+ dosages you're going to be euphoric, chatty, maybe manic, hyperactive and hypersexual.
You may end up "harassing" your partner for sex if you have one, masturbating for hours or other probably fun but unproductive activities.
You're not going to eat and probably you'll forget to drink water and you'll not go to sleep at your usual time.
And then you're gonna crash, sleep 12 hours or more, and be a bit tired, moody and depressed for a day or 2, and you probably won't get much studying done in these days either.
If you keep taking high dosages daily you will definitely develop a strong psychological addiction, and you'll probably need to see it impact you life in an objectively negative way before you quit (such as realising you lost an extreme amount of weight, your partner or friends tell you to choose between them or the drugs, you spent an excessive amount of money on drugs and now can't make rent, etc) you would be able to quit without any medical assistance although it will suck for a bout a week and you'd be likely to relapse in the future.
In regards to how this would impact the MDMA, you need to know that MDMA is not a true psychedelic, it's a stimulant with some mild psychedelic properties.
By taking a stimulant such as 2FMA you're going to lose a lot of the adrenergic and dopaminergic kick of MDMA and you're going to get more of a relaxed/chilled high with very little euphoria.
I also feel compelled to make a point that I wouldn't use MDMA before your thesis is completed and you've finished with your studies.
While you may have used MDMA in the past with no consequences other than being tired for a couple of days, there is a small chance that you get a way more serious comedown, which would absolutely be detrimental to your drive and cognitive performance.
Look at it this way, you've dedicated years of your life to getting to the end of your course of studies, and you would now be risking to significantly reduce your final score or even to not being able to have your thesis ready in June, all for a night of fun.
The way I see it it's not worth it, and it would be more appropriate to roll to celebrate the end of your course of studies and the start of a new chapter in your life.
I'm not trying to be a dickhead and judge your choices, and we will help you try and minimise the consequences of your 2FMA and MDMA use regardless of when you decide to take it, I'm just trying to make you aware of all the possible scenarios so you can make an informed decision.
So, definitely take 500mg Mag Citrate 2x day, and get on the NAC and Vit C as well.
Make sure your 2FMA use is not making you lose any sleep and that you're not undereating.
Take note of things like reduced libido, anxiety, depression, lethargy, anhedonia and inability to focus and get stuff done when you're not on 2FMA.
Make sure you're doing some light aerobic exercise (like a 45 min jog at a pace that doesn't even make you excessively tired) at least 3x week as this will increase BDNF (Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor), which is a healing and regenerating factor for the brain.
This will help increase your energy and speed up recovery from 2FMA use.
