I think it's unlikely that the police would go to all that bother over Kratom. Police forces are localised and so they probably wouldn't want to pick up another areas potential work, and it's doubtful if any investigation would begin from this side? I've not heard of anyone being busted as a direct result of their posting on sites like this.

The OP should definitely clear all his internet history and logins and emails etc though so that there is nothing to tie him to the purchase, just in case the worse case scenario does happen and he gets raided by his local police force and gets his computer or phone seized for investigation. If found that way the post could potentially be used as evidence I guess.
 
I wouldnt bother with that computer/phone shit too much - just delete the email ordering it.

@OP I wouldn't worry too much. If it gets intercepted it's only kratom, not coke. It'll likely get incinerated and you might get a letter saying naughty naughty.
However it might be wise to delete anything incriminating and hide your stuff really well. What about buying a box of some kind of Asian loose tea and swap out the tea for kratom? Or make a compartment somewhere, have a look about. No sniffer dog is gonna know what kratom is.
It's likely just sitting around waiting to be picked up and sent due to the strikes and bank holidays.
In future you should only order from within the UK and let the smugglers do the smugglin. F that for a lark!

I think it’s some kind of modern art. Like trying to make them think hard – to bust or not to bust, is it or is it not just, should or have or must.. And than proudly protecting his stance on court and sticking fingers into 5 eyes.

I mean do they really have abilities and funds to monitor public forum. Are we living in a such kind of police planet?
 
I remember one woodentop came in the interrogation room and said "vaults of erowid eh?" and looked at me sternly. That was all the bastards found after having my computer for 6 months - that I 'd been to erowid to look up a drug.

I take kratom every day, I have tapered down from 42 grams a day to 20 and I want to continue my taper.
I take my dose in divided doses throughout the day, starting about 7 and finishing at 9pm, so I need access to it, yet I don't want to be charged if the police find evidence.
I have been advised to hide my phone and laptop.
If I get a new cheap phone, would I have to change my number?
How am I going to continue to safely taper off if I have to hide the kratom?
Where would I hide it, I don't know anyone who moves in those circles?
I don't want to assume it's just waiting in a queue to be processed as I cannot be certain, and as I cannot rule out a police visit I feel I have to be prepared.

If he were arrested and convicted, he’d probably get off lightly with a small fine and community service.

But the real killer is that having a criminal record could make finding employment or foreign travel difficult. Even trying to get a lease for an apartment

God I hate the futility of prohibition. And we're as far as I can see, the UK is going backwards. At least murrica let you get stoned and take shroomies.
