Anyway, what you want, and a good gauge as to wether or not you are doing it properly is to just start slow. Put the lighter really low and start inhaling, after a few second exhale. Typically when you vaporize properly and exhale there will be a very slight almost steam like appearence. The way I have always been able to tell is by being in a sunlit room and exhaling, there will be almost like a stream of smoke (but a lot less dense) coming out when you exhale.
