this guy ^ obviously i didnt mean what will physically happen to me. i meant what repercussions will there be if im not in withdrawal? will he tell me to come back at a later date or kick me out or what? dont reply to the thread with smart ass remarks i dont need that kind of negativity. thanks anyway. and here in the US my doctor will definitely give me suboxone film strips. Theres fliers all over the office about it.
"Every doctor I've ever heard of". Not every one in the country.
And I don't know how I was being rude, nothing about your post was very clear. I already answered you're first question; you are supposed to be in WD, and you know that. As for "what will happen", we don't know, it depends on the doctor. But I know at least 2 people who we're told to come back because they weren't in WD, and yes, they lied and said they were, but they clearly weren't and had to come back. Even if he were to make you come back, he would likely let you come in the next day.( I must note though, neither we're on buprenorphine)
As for "should you tell him", once again, we cannot tell you what to say to a doctor, it is against the rules you agreed to.
You can't make a post that is vague, with at least 1 question that isn't even allowed, and then be pissy you don't get an answer you like. (Well, clearly you can, but it isn't nice

)
Good luck with you're appointment, though. No one here can tell you for sure how he will respond, use your best judgement.
(Doctors can do whatever they want, and besides, unlike methadone, there is legally no requirement you prove a current physical dependence, so the COWS thing is inaccurate. It's all up to him, which is why questions like this can't be answered meaningfully)
