Hi All. Brief background first. Have gone back to my shrink to battle my demons, which I am so glad for, talk therapy is so great for me right now. However, she put me on a Diazapam script for anexiety (it's the one that works for me).
The paper script was marked for 3 refills. When I picked up my first refill (after my initial script) I noticed the bottle read 1 refill before xyz date. This is one of the Major Pharmacy Chains. I spoke to someone in the Pharmacy and described the question. Her response (after making a *snort at the quantity count) was "Well, three refills, the initial was the first thids is the second and you have 1 left."
No other script I have shows this as the case. Has anyone ever encountered this? Is this a mistake or a deliberate attempt on their part to limit someone's CVI high count script? Did this person screw up and not want to admit the mistake? And finally, the script was a paper script. Do you think they scan those and have a digital copy of the original? I don't want to call my doc and ask about this and have it seem like I am obsessing about my valium. Its just bugging the hell out of me. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. And for ONCE in my life I am actually taking my benzos as prescribed! YAY!
