I'm one of the newer members here, joined yesterday. I've had so many research chemical oriented questions, as I remember them I will post.
SWIM is applicable here, yes?
Well, my most pressing question goes as follows:

SWIM has roughly 300 mg of an MDPV product. He has the "Ivory Wave" bath salt edition, so SWIMs not sure how pure the chemical is or what else is in there. Any further info RE Ivory Wave will be very appreciated by SWIM. We're also assuming its a HCl salt instead of a freebase, but once again no way to verify it that we know of.
Now, 300 mg of some MDPV, roughly. I've been reading around and found that it rapidly degrades in water. With stimulants, SWIM likes to mix them with saline solution and use the spray to dose. Its easier on his nose (which has been previously wrecked by cocaine) and the repetitive motion feels better than eating it.
What SWIM and I would like to know is, about how fast is "rapid degradation" with this chem? If/when SWIM puts it into solution, take into account that it'll be stored at temps never exceeding 60F and the spray bottle is opaque so not alot of light. Has anyone ever successfully ingested MDPV in this manner? It worked fine for 4-MMC but they're very obviously different chemicals with different properties.
Now, if some wise, scientific soul could please educate SWIM and I on exactly how and why this moisture driven degrading process happens? I'm familiar with the sciences in a wide range of disciplines, so feel free to use all the relevant vernacular to describe the process.

I've taken small amounts of 4-MMC and bkMDMA and mixed them with enough 99% isopropyl alcohol to get it into solution. For some reason, the effects of insuflating it after the alcohol boiled off were markedly more potent at the same dosage. I've been itching to try with the MDPV, but the degrading in water has stayed my hand with caution.
Also, the main reason I think the other RCs are more effective after that process is because while the alcohol is evaporating, the RC becomes a finer powder and is thusly absorbed quicker and more efficiently. The MDPV is already very fine and it hasn't absorbed much moisture from the air, but there's a slim chance that it wasn't a change in particle size and that the chemical was altered in some way or another. Either way, SWIM and I are itching to find out but he's loathe to waste a good stimulant, even just a bump for science.
