Because jumping in randomly every now and then with a nonsensical criticism is the height of Nostradamus' sapienistic achievement.

They would use the coward way and just bitch behind their back, but if they saw them in person they would just run and hide. Very much like on here. It just comes across to me as a very weak character.
But I am sure there are many other invisible users who actually only do it for the mere fact of hiding their countless visits to bluelight, and to not be noticed as always being online. I guess because they really care about what others think.... hmmm....
*starfalls69* said:Thats a very valid point. But not everyone who uses the 'invisible feature' does it because they are hiding something or bitches behind peoples backs. Granted there probably are those on here that would do that...but I haven't come across any and I wouldn't waste my time listening to or believing half the shit that is said if it is said.
I guess i use the invisible thing for my own privacy really. I could turn it back to being visible...but like i stated earlier...i lurk a lot of the time. And I leave myself logged in 99.999% of the time so when im just skimming through Aus Events threads sometimes I like to do it un-detected.
Each to their own really. If BL didn't have the visible/invisible feature it wouldn't phase me.
drugfukkdrockstar said:Besides, just because you are logged into bluelight doesn't mean that is the 'only' thing you are doing. Usually I am also down loading new music onto i tunes, or checking out my myspace, or looking up recipes.

As far as mods being invisible, dont you think their visible presence would be more of a deterrent to being naughty? And if there is a problem or 'emergency' like a suicidal poster, it shows they are contactable.

All im saying, is that their reasons aren't good enough
How would they know unless they are reading BL too?B9 said:Does that include trying not to draw attentiion to the fact that I am posting on a website during working hours, and that website ( bluelight) is "banned" by the council who subcontract the work to our firm .If word got out, & there will likely be an attempt to do just that due to some internal shit at work, then it would not go down at all well. God forbid they ever read some of my posts.
Yes, you may receive it later, what good is this in an emergency?Infinite Jest said:Yeah, even if someone is on invisible, they will still receive a PM. I'm not sure that most people would even check to see if someone was online before PMing them - the list of online users isn't very obvious. Plus, you can always post in Support, or in the forum itself, and lots of people will see it.
This is a thred created solely to discuss the issue. Erm??*starfalls69* said:and like i said...if us being invisible bothers you so much, chat to admin about it. That is what they are there for if you can't chat to us
Do you have any opinion of your own? every second post is a one liner agreement with a mod.DFRS said:^ Oooh I dunno dude - I think in that case you had better hand in your mod sick!
