well fuck me. sorry about that. i didn't mean to say he wasn't good. i meant to say he's not an amazing drummer. i can see why people like him (showmanship as previously noted) but i do agree that i did say that, and i would like to correct myself with this post.Do you know how to read? I don't like him all that much but you should realize it's hard to deny you said something when its written wright above your denial.
Being able to play a drum solo doesn't make you a good drummer. Ringo Starr is a horrible fucking drummer yet he is one of the greatest drummers that ever existed.
this gets a +1Negative
Tim Armstrong = lost one of the hottest chicks on the planet to a way hotter and way better musician, then he tried to beat Homme up in a bar, and lost. Armstrong, you are a loser.
The only thing redeeming in that band is Lars Fredrickson.
And even then, not so much.

this post disgusts you?
jeezam!
are you serious? this posts disgusts me. have you even heard the first two Rancid albums, before Lars was around? Don't get me wrong, I love "and out come the wolves', that was the album that introduced me to them, but it was the beginning of the end, and lars totally coup de tat'ed the band.
lars fredrickingwhatever is a jackoff.
Check out Axiom. crusty metal punk in all it's glory. this is what punk is about. fuck capitalism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUu5PfsbBxo
learn how to use quote tags.Used to be really into punk... still have a lot of punk friends, and associate with politically radical types, but I don't listen to the genre any more. I can't stand what I see as the insularity in the scene, to be honest, so not only have I drifted away from it but I've been pushed away from it. For all their talk of free-mindednes and liberation and what not, there are a hell of a lot of punks who seem to think that anyone who doesn't dress like them or listen to their music or think completely like them is someone not worth being around. Different lifestyles, oh my god, how threatening...
used to feel this way too for along time, left the punk scene for the militant anarchist scene, and found the same thing.
never met a group of people who aren't all sheep, but punk music is still so fucking good, the fuck society aspect of it still speaks to me in a way nothing else can. don't go to alot of shows, or hang out in the scene, but still love the music, and still listening to new stuff when i find something good.
^thank you! obscure californian punk bands are awesome.
EDIT: eh? you've got 54 posts yet you've been here for more than 2 years?
