A bunch of my friends are at noisepoison RIGHT NOW.. I was meant to go, I even bought a ticket but i could not get this week off work.
I leave for Berlin in 2 days!!!!!
So glad the freqs of nature set times have been released too.
I think it will be acid oclock every night :D

Ahh, dude! Sucks that you had to sell your ticket to Noise Poison. That lineup is TOO good. However, Freqs will be just as awesome, not to mention two days longer. If you see some tranced-out idiot in an orange 'pixie' hoodie and probably some black metal t-shirt, come and say hello. 99% of the time (if the drugs don't say otherwise :P ), I'll be at the Forest Floor... :D :D

It is an absolutely awesome track and one of the all time classics of Goatrance. However if we're nit picky it would belong in the Goatrance thread (although, Goatrance is both Trance and Psychedelic, so essentially it is Psychedelic Trance)

I've been listening to a lot of Malice In Wonderland lately. IMO they're the best dark psy producers right now (I used to dig Para Halu most but they've changed their style to much more experimental stuff).

I agree - he was good until he started putting the pedal to the metal.

Cyanoide, I know that feel. When I first started to listen to psytance, I couldn't stand high bpm psy. It was too much. But if you listen to the music long enough, it starts to grow on you. Once you become a true audophile, you'll learn to appreciate everything. Lower bpm psy is cool but hyper psy me brings to a whole different level.

As with Cyanoide, it's not a matter of being a psy-n00b and not having developed a taste for it yet - psytrance has been my favourite music genre for years. The really fast, 160+ BPM darkpsy just seems to lose the psytrance aesthetic, and often sounds more like hard techno or hard NRG. Also, a huge part of psytrance, for me, is dancing - and when it's too fast it's hard to dance to it naturally and comfortably.

I enjoy high-tempo death metal (and a bit of black every now and then) as well, so I don't think it's a case of not 'getting' such fast or aggressive music - just not what I'm looking for in psytrance. It loses the "party music" feel for a violent auditory onslaught.
I guess that for similar reasons I dislike all 'horror-psy' or 'killer darkpsy' - horror movie samples and stuff like Xenomorph I just can't grasp. If it's gonna be dark, I prefer it to be the high-tech sort, of a more 'mysterious' dark (forest psy, if you will).

The King of Russian psy, for me, is Dissociactive. Fucking sick. 8o

Other shit I've been listening to a lot lately: Soladria, Hux Flux, Assioma, Koxbox, Oberon, Fungus Funk, Archaic, Artsense, Yudhisthira, and Braincell.

Went to freqs of nature about a week ago. Only got back to berlin city last night.
Fucking mental over here, i seriously want to move here i think.
The psy scene is amazing. The hippies doofers pixies gypsies are all very very good loving people.
I got to see so many well respected artists, and in 2 weeks i have decided to head to Paradise festival. Kindzadza vs Cosmo. Whoah cannot wait!!!

Psychedanic and i started hanging out in berlin over a weeks ago, before freqs of nature, but we had no idea that we had been connecting through bluelight. We ended up spending every night together and partying in the same crew all week at the festival, came back to berlin to run amock for days with our friends. It wasnt until early this morning i mentioned something about bluelight to him and we realized that we had been in touch this whole fucking time.
Such a spin out, seriously cant get my head around this. out of the millions of people in this world, the universe drew us together.
Whats even trippier, we are both named Dan. we both crave dark forest hitec psy, our mothers are bo0th from Scotland and out fathers are both from India. Fucking trippy or what?????
 
^hahaha that's crazy. something similar to me happened at burning man. I was in the middle of the playa at a giant playground. Me and my friend are on a teeter totter when these irish dudes come up and we offer them nerds. One of the guys looked familiar. I don't know why but I asked him if he was on bluelight. come to find out it was Red Arrow. It's a small world. :D
