5-MeO-DALT is pretty short (3 - 4 hours), 2C-D also (same duration)

This exact thing is true for 4-HO-DPT as well. You are likely to be back baseline after 3 hours. Even with strong doses you will be clearly back to known territory after 3h. I have never tried 4-HO-DiPT so I cannot compare, but 4-HO-DPT is a very good material, if you know what you're doing with dosage.

When I combined 4-ho-dpt with aMT the durationof the 4-ho-dpt seemed to ba at least 6 hours plus the cone down. This might also be because I did 300mg in 3 separate bumps over the course of an hour.

I've had shroom trips that lasted 4 hours and shroom trips that lasted almost 8 hours... so I guess they CAN be short depending on the shrooms themselves and dose.

DiPT, MET to an extent, most 2C-x compounds, and quite a few 4-sub tryptamines will be quite short lived.
It really depends on the subjects definition of short acting. Anything with a peak under 6 hours is very short acting when taking moderate-heavy doses of serotogenic psychedelics.

i haven't tried a lot of RCs, but 2c-b and 4-ho-mipt both last about 4 or 5 hours for me.

IMO it's not long enough
