Psychedelics that don't last long

I'd like to know which psychedelics last short,except for dmt.I love LSD but I got stuff to do daily and it ain't practical for me,since every trip lasts 18 hours with a 1-2 h peak
 
When I need a really quick trip, DMT. When I need a moderate timed trip, 2c-b. Lasts maybe 5 hours max for me. Shorter if you bump it.
 
Shulgin mentions the following in TiHKAL #17 (4-ho-DIPT): "To be on a trip and then to be back pretty much in two hours and really baseline in another hour? Most unusual"
 
DPT, DXM, 5-MeO-DMT, LSA, shrooms, salvia, ketamine, MiPT, MET, and 4-HO-DiPT

Ketamine has a short duration, and other than that there's tryptamines that you can smoke. I would advise against seeking a daily trip. If you have things to do regularly, wait until you have adequate free time. I feel like the duration of many psychedelics is important to the experience as it allows a greater degree of exploration of novel ideas and concepts. If the experience is too short-lived you can't really immerse yourself into the depths of thought that a compound offers, or if you can, it did not provide an experience which can be sufficiently reflected upon or integrated afterwards.
 
Let's not forget 2C-D, brilliant stuff for short trips. Highly energetic trip (its DOM's lil brother) that only lasts 3-4 hours. I really like 2C-D because its just long enough to get caught up and oh! Then you come down again!
 
2C-D is awesome for sure but I could never help myself when I took it. I always felt so damn good that I launched into something else with it haha.

This exact thing is true for 4-HO-DPT as well. You are likely to be back baseline after 3 hours. Even with strong doses you will be clearly back to known territory after 3h. I have never tried 4-HO-DiPT so I cannot compare, but 4-HO-DPT is a very good material, if you know what you're doing with dosage.

Really? 4-HO-MET had me going 6 hours minimum. It was the longest of the hydroxyl tryptamines for me.

4-HO-DiPT was the shortest by far. The peak was around an hour and a half and then you quickly started to come down and sober up. It was intense as hell though.
 
I don't really use drugs a lot mate.Once or twice a month LSD,DMT,heroin and some weed.I am sober most of the time.Whatever tho,ill drop a gram of shrooms and see how it goes.Then maybe ill do some more

Of course if thepends on your definition of Short. A 30 hours DOI trip is quite short if you use cosmological time frames... Shrooms are definitely shorter than LSD, but a nice dose of shrooms goes to 8 hours easily, and I would never call that a short trip. Ayahuasca with 2-3 hours might be a short trip or even ketamine. Not shrooms.

Mmmmkay I'm not trying to be your dad that never left btw I'm just some dude looking out for ya.

Like your username, why? & you told me you got addicted to heroin and we had this same convo last night lol this is gonna be the last time I say anything though.
