Psychedelics and your pets

I now believe that cats are like ancient gods, I was tripping around my friend's cat and I saw it transform into a mini tiger and then back for the longest. Then when I was looking into the eyes its pupils would just put me in a trance, I would see the eyes go on forever like a spiraling black hole.

on lsd once, i went out to my front porch to smoke some pot, and my cat was kickin' it there on the bench and i tried to communicate with it telepathically by thinking "please let me sit there" really hard and it meowed and i heard a voice in my head saying your an idiot and then my cat scooted over so i could sit on the bench. That was a crazy trip.

hahaha that's awesome.

Bump.

I haven't had a pet since 2006, but I'm currently cat sitting for a friend and I swear I've had moments feeling as if I was on LSD just from connecting with that little beast. I wouldn't say "flashback", but there is something in my mental processes that can momentarily feel a bit psychedelic.

Has anyone else experienced contact highs from pets before? (While sober of course!)

Yeah I've never felt any sorta contact high with or without drugs but animals can bring a natural high so to speak. Here you have this animal that loves you unconditionally that basically serves you and wants nothing to do but give you their love and loyalty. You can go out and massacre 100 babies and come home and that dog will still love you. I'm definately a softy for animals.and always have been since a child so the joy they bring can be considered a natural high.

One of my cats, Tyme-Orpheus (Or Phi for short), formed a very special bond with me when I was on LSD. He would literally just sit in my lap the whole time, totally placid, wouldn't leave me for a second. I don't know if he was hanging out with me 'cause he knew I was in a more vulnerable state, sort of protecting me, or whether he was kind of getting a contact high and just basking in the psychedelic vibes.

I just posted about this in another similar thread. My little terrier does the EXACT same thing. He always knows when I'm tripping, he can be sleeping under the blankets and I'm only about 10mins into a trip and he will wake up and come lie next to me. He knows when I'm going too deep as well, he will start pawing at my thigh when I'm peaking and start rubbing against me like he's trying to get me to respond. Almost like he's trying to keep me grounded. I love having him around although sometimes it gets annoying when I'm staring into a pitch black room trying to get engulfed in the trip and he's trying to get my attention but I know his intentions are in the right place. Not to mention his fur looks so fucking cool while tripping.

My chihuaha gets extremely affectionate as well but comes and goes. He likes to just rub his face against you with a huge smile (yes dogs can smile, at least mine can). I swear he looks like such an alien creature while tripping. He has a big apple-head and big bug eyes that are so far apart. All in all I think animals and tripping is a winning combo.

Once whilst tripping on high dose of 2C-E and 4-Aco-DMT, I heard my cat Tali burp really loudly, so I turned round to her an asked did you just burp ? she shook her head as to say No, this freaked me out so I went out side to my shed to smoke a spliff and somehow she'd managed to sneak past me and get in my shed before I could, I was blown away by the sheer sneakiness of my cat, I really thought she was fucking with me lol she never burped again though unfortunately.

My 4 kitties congregate like the secret chiefs when i do psychedelics.
They watch my hallucinations.
Sometimes i think they are helping make the hallucinations.
Damn Russian Blues.
