Psychedelic Movie Watching

How can anyone watch Salo or Killer Joe on drugs?!?!. Killer joe gave me the worst bad trip and I wasn't even tripping at the time.
Anyone who willingly sits down to watch Salo on acid should get some sort of medal. Medal of laughing in the face of danger. Exceptional braveness and a head as hard as fuck medal

Watch "Killer Joe" on MXE? Challenge accepted! :D

Sounds normal and alot like me. Like I said I can't watch something for very long before I have to move away from it. watching 15 minutes of the WWE on LSD was hillarious, as was the Simpsons...

No text should be required. High dose a good long lasting introspective psychedelic (LSD, 2C-E, 2C-P) and have your mind fucked.

Best experience was years ago watching city of god during a little ketamine binge. No subtitles were on but I was fully immersed in the movie. I felt as if I was actually there , floating through the sky over rio de janeiro watching the movie unfold in real life. I'm not huge on dissociatives , but I've gave MXE a chance to recreate this blissfull movie watching experience and It just doesn't compare. I can't seem to let myself go like I did on ketamine and usually end up distracted or confused.

Watched samsara on 20mg 4-aco-DMt the other night was quite the treat.

I prefer nature / wildlife / imagery type movies while tripping , that way there's no plot I have to follow and can let my mind wander.

I noticed I enjoy watching movies a lot more on tryptamines compared to phens.

I watched Sunshine while tripping having no idea what to expect before hand. It turned out to be a beautiful dissertation on the strength of the human spirit in the face of the destruction of space, time, and the idea of god itself. ostensibly, the whole point of the movie is that the sun is dying and a mission has been undertaken to reignite it, and thus save earth and the human race. but so many wonderful philosophical nuances presented themselves along the way, along with fantastic effects and questioning of reality itself. i wasn't ready for it and the impact of this film literally floored me. i went to step outside to have a cigarette, and low and behold, dawn was just about to break. seeing the sun rise felt so right and i had a head full of ideas to keep me busy. i have never felt so at peace.

Yesssss.

Oh and in one of the other tripping movie threads (this thread will be merged soon), someone recommended Winnie the Pooh, and after after trying it out I must agree that it is most suitable.

fuck i forgot winnie the pooh, that shit is so insanely funny while tripping (or not). You must see winnie the pooh and the blustery day it is mind blowingly psychedelic.

Think I'm gonna go see the new oz on 25-3O mg 4-aco-DMt this evening. Should be interesting. Most I've taken before is 25mg but I don't get anxiety on the come up so I shouldn't have an issue. Plan is pop a gel cap on the way as it takes about half hour to start kicking in usually. Main effects only last about 3 hours for me , then a hour or two afterglow. Movies nearly 2.5 hours so should be a perfect fit. Have lots of other things I could take but pretty sure questions asking opinions of that are not allowed so ill refrain. Anyways ill maybe post a short report in the 4-aco-DMt big & dandy thread.

Oh my god Winnie the Pooh, I'm going to watch that ASAP. Let's see if I can bring back forgotten memories from the simpler days of being a child. Toy Story should be a nice one as well in this context, I think.

The new Adventure Time episode just came out and it is trippy as fuck.

<snip> BL doesn't need to get involved with piracy.

We watched the entire original mummy with no sound on without realising. There was some light music on quietly but i don't think the film would have made sense anyway.
We then watched sea monsters, which I thought was river monsters and got seriously creeped out when this sea scorpion popped out and bites this poor guys foot off. I had no idea if it was a piss take or not.

If you are to watch something, do it in the dark.
