Esoteric Psychedelic Ideas and Revelations Inaction

Noooo!! 8(

Dude you musta ODed and your mind has snapped is all I can figure. All that from methylone??? No friggin' way! Youre pulling our legs just to have fun and get a reaction, right? I thought you seemed so sensible before this.

Not The Aspartame Delusion! Thats long been shown to be total BS! Conspiracy theory run amok into swoozy junk pseudo-science. I have 5 year old packets of it that are still sweet... they taste and smell nothing like methanol.

Go to the Science & Technology topic and post the evidence of all these evils about it. It was NOT 'originally developed as rat and ant poison'!!! Where did you get this poppycock? Why I put out piles of it on the floor earlier and a bunch of my rat and ant friends licked it up and have now returned... They're sitting there right now looking at me blinking/waving their antennae asking for more.... even brought some of their buddies along!

OK, I'm calming down... I see... I see... This topic is really for blathering random silliness and rattling each others cages and having all such sort of chatty fun like that right??

Phew! Really had me goin there fer a minit, babe... good one... got me! HAHA! 8)<3

Dont worry, I still love you!

this post had me really laughing.

I have a big old green-eyed black cat I adopted as a starving stray kitten with an alarmingly human-infant sounding modulated and very LOUD meow 15 years ago. He still follows me around the house, checks the windows and every little sound, like he is my bodyguard or the Security Officer of the house. Still chases stuff, darts around and acts like a kitten most of the time, too, even at his advanced age. Looks me STRAIGHT in the eyes all the time. Such a smart, cool, loving animal. All cat's can be of course, but I have to wonder if there's something else in those "black fur / green-eyes" genes that makes them in particular be a little more... something, you know?

Ha, I like that Security Officer comment; you do realise he actuallyis secutiry officer- whatever a cat thinks of themselves is never an assumption but plain old fact.

Hmm, reverse engineering hinduism proceeds thusly; snort DPT and a lot- suddenly turn into a multi limbed demigod ganeshan hybrid; start vibrating at the rate of AUM and suddenly see what the AUM/OM symbol really means.....DPT is odd, the effects shift quite dramatically according to dose- at 20mg's, you get an increaase in sensuality, mild halluciantions; at 50mg you get the same sensuality, but the hallucinations become more jagged and almost less real- at 75 mg's, for all intense and purposes, you enter a place made out of crsytalline/fractal structures; mild elements of hinduism take hol.

At 150mg, well, you're there, reverse engineering one of the worlds oldest belief systems. You will vibrate at 136.10 Hz (C#1-or2-which is odd, because the most prominent psytrance kick drum is at C 1.

You get it now?? :D

Wow...never heard any of that before... I think you may have just singlehandedly caused a run on DPT stocks!

Sounds awesome, if a bit scary. Like something I really need to try.

What are C1 and C2?

THANKS!

Weirdly, I find male cats to be alot more affectionate and trusting that females. I'm usually more of a dog person, and it takes alot to endear me to a cat. But when it happens... it happens big time.

I can never get enough of the following two videos:

Kymatica - Ben Stewart

Perfectly explains our divorce from nature and the manifestation of ego.

Sacred Geometry

Perfectly explains the creation of the universe.

I don't really like justifying or preaching what I've learnt because it's intangible. Just learn and live. Understand what you are and aren't consciously aware of, and bring everything forth to the conscious mind.

Unlearning the basics. The "basics" are the foundation for egoism and self-righteousness plaguing our earth.

Furthermore, judgement is the root of ego. For when you judge, you create competition within yourself.

Double post :)

Yeah, I do have to say when the mention of Indigo children came up, I started to take it less seriously.

It really is nonsense Magickat. Superiority complex/messianic type junk.

Why take it less seriously because of a conceptual mentioning? It may support our "superiority complex" though the world we live in is no where free of egoism at all. A lot of Psyche users don't even realize that their "path to divinity" or spirituality is being highjacked by their ego.

Unconsciously many people are discovering themselves and using it to place themselves above others. Instead of neutralizing any judgement of ourselves, because we are all the same and were all exposed to the impurities around us.

So for you to judge that information as superiority complex and messianic is simply your ego manifesting these traits within yourself.

Consciousness is shifting, and it takes less tainted and manufactured minds to grasp this. Hence the coining of the term. Just because we're all discovering this same static reality, doesn't give us the position to judge anything else with our new sense of enlightenment.

Personally when I read about Indigo children, I understand that knowledge came from the original shamans of our earth, and their coining of terms was purely to teach initiates about their role on earth, and that they are children of the earth.

It's not negative in ANY way.

The wikipedia article on indigo children was interesting. It says in the criticism section that the supposed traits that define indigo children are so vague as to be applicable to nearly anyone, and that there is no substantial evidence of anything special about those claiming to be "indigo". In fact, it says many parents of special needs kids likely rationalize their disabilities or disruptive behavior as something special, that such behavior means their kids are "indigo," to give their sad situation a more positive spin. "Others have stated that many of the traits of indigo children could be more prosaically interpreted as simple unruliness and alertness." It ostensibly just sounds like the behavior you'd expect from children raised by their parents to have a hefty sense of entitlement and self-righteousness.

Also, the commercialization section details the market built up around the concept that milks believers for cash. The whole thing seems for the most part sad and destructive, like the New Age movement it's a part of. I'm sure it's not that way in every case, but it's just so much more likely that, as a rule, these people are being exploited than that they have psychic abilities or spiritual powers... though no doubt presenting such information to believers bounces right off them. How could it not, they've believed it since such a young age and it makes them feel good about themselves in a social world they've had so much difficulty integrating into because of what they've been told about themselves .

Oh my, I just read that the founder believed he channeled the powers of a spiritual being called "Kryon." Wow. The indigos should party with the Scientologists. It's a South Park episode waiting to happen.

Here's an article called Indigo:The Color of Money that goes into how this market exploits these people's desires to think they're special. What a bunch of dicks: create a destructive culture that makes childrens' sense of self-worth contingent on lies that are transparent to most everyone around them and then bleed them as adults by appealing to the delusions you've conditioned into them since before they could use a toilet.

So, what is the harm in giving parents a positive spin on their children for a change -- like Indigo?

Besides parents possibly foregoing beneficial, if not life-saving, treatment for children with mental or neurological disorders, some proponents of the Indigo movement infuse children with a false sense of human superiority and a bizarre paranormal identity. Mutilating science while claiming scientific proof, children are led to believe by trusted adults that they were born members of a new breed of the human race, the next step in human evolution, that their genes were somehow altered -- perhaps as a result of divine or extraterrestrial intervention, or spontaneous genetic mutation accomplished by non other than the children themselves. Some children come to believe they are endowed with extraordinary powers such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, healing powers, pre-birth and previous life recall, etc. Tober and Carroll tell us that Indigo Children don’t fit in and feel uncomfortable when not with other Indigos. Small wonder!

a great post is
this:
In fact, it says many parents of special needs kids likely rationalize their disabilities or disruptive behavior as something special, that such behavior means their kids are "indigo," to give their sad situation a more positive spin. "
and this:
It ostensibly just sounds like the behavior you'd expect from children raised by their parents to have a hefty sense of entitlement and self-righteousness..
a vigorous +1

here's how I look at it: some kind of heady mix of ADD, Aspergers, and genreal entitlement*,with a smiley face put onto it by self-righteous New Age ideologues who can't come to terms with the fact that their child is profoundly maladjusted

it's one of those feedback loops, a real sad situation

*the former 2 afflictions are ones that I think, at least as commonly applied to children, are nosologically questionable and more related to general trensd in our society, and the latter one is well nigh universal in a lot of socioeconomic brackets although it manifests itself in vastly different ways

LOL, indigos.

It's amazing how much mental energy people are willing to expend in order to make themselves feel special.

What's wrong with just being a regular fucker like the rest of us? :D
