Esoteric Psychedelic Ideas and Revelations Inaction

we hold the world in our hands, we can no longer sit and watch the world suffer

Beautiful Post CL <3 what substance were you tripping on when you came to all these beautiful revelations? How do you intend to pass along the message you received to others? Or do you think that these kinds of lessons are better experienced and learned by ones self?

Im going to make bold the ones that I really dug ;) <3

Mu. [It's a Zen thing. You can look it up, but you might not fully understand it by itself.]
Love unconditionally.
Make no assumptions.
It's ok.
Don't ask why; ask why not.
You don't need a reason to celebrate.
Recognize the irrational and let it go.
Live actively.

Don't get refunds.
Be your own god.
Everything is plausible.
Don't TRY to be generous.
Patience pays off double.
Rules and rulers are made, not born.
You can never be too lighthearted.
People will always take advantage of you.
Life is formless.
Nothing is done in vain.
A coincidence is just a sign that things are ok as they are.
If you have to make excuses for your beliefs, reconsider.
Active hate is the same as love.
Be deliberate.
There is beauty where people say there is not.

Your list reminded me of a poem that my mom had hanging on the wall in our bathroom when I was young. The poem was called "How to Build a Community" and it went like this:

Turn off your TV. Leave your house. Know your neighbors, Look up when you are walking; Greet people; Sit on your stoop; Plant flowers; Use your library; Play together; Buy from local merchants; Share what you have; Help a lost dog; Take children to the park; Garden together; Support neighborhood schools; Fix it even if you didn't break it; Have pot lucks; Honor elders; Pick up litter; Read stories aloud; Dance in the street; Talk to the mail carrier; Listen to the birds; Put up a swing; Help carry something heavy; Barter for your goods; Start a tradition; Ask a question; Hire young people for odd jobs; Organize a block party; Bake extra and share; Ask for help when you need it; Open your shades; Sing together; Share your skills; Take back the night; Turn up the music; Turn down the music; Listen before you react to anger; Mediate a conflict; Seek to understand; Learn from new and uncomfortable angles; Know that no one is silent although many are not heard. Work to change this.

Great responses all around, however Swilow... I doubt that "blowing shit up" would accomplish anything positive ;) <3 Make love not war and all that you sarcastic silly goose :D

Thanks, LoveLite!<3

Awwww, thanks LoveLite. You're a total doll... So, how am I going to help people to know this? Well, I realized that I work best with words, since I'm not really musical or artistic, so I've already boiled a bunch of ideas down to a few books that I'm going to write. =] And thanks for the feedback!

^I must say CrookedLetter, that posts was brilliant. You've given me lotsa food for thought there. To bne honest, its the best post I've seen in this thread regarding actual true concepts that are practical and workable :)

Stick around the Bluelight brother.....:) <3

To swilow, thanks for all the loving and kind words, and I'm really glad that my post gave you something to think about, but I can't entirely take credit for anything I've written, because it's all inside of you too. It's just a certain combination of words that you yourself could have produced. It may sound odd, but what I found inside of me, I know is inside of everyone else.

And to uniter, I love that you can relate to anything I wrote, but again, it's because ANYONE could have written, thought or said what I did. I just knew how to put it into words to make it coherent. That one idea about active hate really hit me because I realized that if you hate someone to the point of spending your energy on them, by doing unkind things, you might as well love them because it would use LESS energy if anything, and it would just make the world a better place.

And to anyone who really connected with much of what I said, keep an eye on my blog because I'm going to write more in depth about what changed my life... As soon as I can find words to explain it!

I love you all.

It may sound odd, but what I found inside of me, I know is inside of everyone else.

This is PD love <3 you surely do not sound odd. Its the collective consciousness, "I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together." I also find that that same existence is alive and well in all THINGS as well, trees, rocks, glass jars. Everything that IS is a part of the collective consciousness.

(Im quite high ATM so please excuse my failure to convey my ideas properly.. 8) )

I love all the LOVE in this thread! =D MUAH!

I'm thinking of it from the point of a lover's fight. At that point you feel hate but if you didn't love them you wouldn't give a shit. Underneath the hate is deep love. Ya just gotta work through it. That's what I took from that "active" adjective. :)

I forgive you Karma; but you convey your ideas just fine regardless. :) <3

Thats it. It really resonated with me as it felt very similar to things I've thought, but can't express. :) <3

Now we're getting somewhere; I'll drop my hopes of blowing shit up about now :D

@ LL; you know exactly how I feel, the whole collective consciousness thing. It's what I came to accept last Sunday and no one else seems to understand. I'd say it's ironic that you choose that quote from I Am the Walrus to explain it, considering I use that quote to explain it myself, but nothing seems odd or coincidental to me any more. And like you said, I feel the connection with everyone and everything and nothing all at the same time. Everything just IS. And you conveyed it quite well despite the being high. =]

@ uniter; I never really looked at it from a lover's perspective, but the reason I voiced the thought at all is that it can be applied to many different situations. It's a moral philosophy in and of itself, with or without context. I'm glad you could give me another view on it, because I really dig it. It's like passionate hate.

@ swilow; I'm really glad I could use my passion for writing to put your thoughts and feelings and experiences into words that you can now pass on to others.

I love you all.

Great post, CL, you definitely fit right in with us swirlyfolk ;)

<3 TMH

LOL you posted as I was responding to several others, so I didn't get to say hi, and thanks so much. Surely you all must know what it feels like to have your very own words move people, and it's an incredible feeling. I'm so glad I belong here =]

I love you all.

^^^^^

I 100 percent agree. I am, all the time, the result of the revelations I've had on drugs. <3 Hugs from this end of the collective consciousness :) AT the least, I am just more patient and happy to meet people, anyone... ugh I have to work tomorrow morning, but I'll definitely be back to this thread.

"I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together." I also find that that same existence is alive and well in all THINGS as well, trees, rocks, glass jars. Everything that IS is a part of the collective consciousness.

We inhabit our own mind. The universe is just one mind, methinks.

love this thread.....too 8)

pitifully it came to my eyes just a few minutes ago.

well. reading CLs wonderful list I suddenly performed this childish-psychedelic-giggle (hard to explain..) as I read "It's ok."
"It's ok." (in german btw) were actually the first words the universe was telling me and that blew my mind&gave my life a different turn. It was the voice of my mother -for whom nothing was ever ok- but it felt like "god"/everyone talking to me, embracing me.

if we could share only a part of this overwhelming feeling of comfort and warmth in our daily life... - - it would make a difference.

-> comfort people. do it.

-
that's what I (have time for and) urgently wanted to share right now. more to come probably. :)

The physical existence, laws of physics and matter, all that, it's just an agreement between all parts of the collective psyche. The physical universe is the way it is because we all agree it is that way. Ultimately, we are all one mind, we each represent different ways of experiencing life.
