Psychedelics and empathogens are amazing to me. I'm relatively young, 16, but, not to be arrogant, see myself as pretty intelligent. I go to a school where drug use is seen as worse than holding a black mass. Its not a Catholic school or associated with any religion, but it is private. This is in contrast to, however, the town what I live in. No offence to anybody, but its a town of crack heads and burn outs, people who use drugs to get fucked up and escape reality. I personally love drugs like MDMA, LSD, and have a personal affinity for DXM, but if anyone hears that I've ever used any drugs, most particularly in my school, they automatically assume I'm a worthless burn out that will end up nowhere in life. I have one friend, Matt, who sees eye to eye with me. I've changed so much since I started using the drugs that I do, but in a good way. I used to be very depressed, and I never saw much depth to life or any connections with others. Since, I see things in a very different light, like I've been, well, enlightened.

The stereotypical view of drug users annoys me so much, and also the way the media handles the topic gets me going. I just wish people would be more opened and see things in a different light.
