Yeah hugging trees is fucking sick.
ninae said:I think they do have feelings. But on a very vague, unconscious level compared to us. Like a young, healthy tree will be "happy", or give off a more positive vibe. While an old, sick tree or forest will be more gloomy or feel depressing to look at.
^Genetics, soil makeup, variability in watering. Also, see confirmation bias and ideas of reference. Not that I think there's anything wrong with you feeling a connection with the tree, and personifying it a lil'. It's certainly more innocuous than the marketolatry of laissez-faire types, in any case.
You're describing your own feelings looking at them, not feelings the trees have. Though it is common (and I do it myself) in English to describe a healthy plant as "happy" and an unhealthy one as "sad."
please enlighten us with your mastery of slovakCan you also blame your complete dearth of punctuation; fluctuations in spelling of the same word; and, misuse of basic grammatical devices on a lack of English language skills?
there is one thing we can be sure of : "i think therefore i am" (the existence of the consciousness asking this question)how can anyone be 100% sure of anything?
