Microsft Powerpoint, /Excel, NSLOOKUP, Traceroutes, Whois
Scary shit! :D I see how the emerging threat analyst works:

Supervisor: "So Brad, show us what ya got."
Analyst: "We found a Jihadi website. I ran the following: NSLOOKUP, Whois and then finished them off with a traceroute."
Supervisor: "Get some!"
Analyst: "I recorded it all in Excel."
Supervisor: "Excel, huh. Do you think ya could code it into powerpoint for me? The Joint Chiefs do love a slide show."
Analyst: "You bet boss."

troicfdh ar la?

they don't need to watch my internets they just need to watch me :D

beginning to think my boss works for mi5 or something, either that or band aid he keeps going to ethiopia unexpectedly.

Of no particular interest or relevance to anyone other than myself (and possibly Mr Lemming)...

My TMN extension has searched for nowt over the last 24h or so other than assorted Seppo sleb wimminz, Islamic "watchwords", various American airlines, various politically sensitive landmarks in the US and UK, random techy stuff and cars. I fukkin <3 this add on more than life itself <3

haha.

it's a pity bluelight doesn't use https, because as it stands every single thing posted by every user on here including PM's can be easily intercepted and probably is.

It's ok. They can't cope. Of course they have everything. But they can't arrest us all. Much as they'd like to.

Smash the State, Al Qaeda 10 year reunion behind the bike sheds, Saturday 9/11.

But just to help it on its way I am firmly in favour of Mr Lemming's linky calling us all to mention JIHAD at every possible opportunity =D

I just left a nail bomb at all available local synagogues, churches and political outposts. True story.

This is how much of the internet goes through London and as a result is in the hands of GCHQ :

I could try to pretend to understand all the ins and outs of that... but doubt I'd convince anybody so instead will revert to type and simply admire it's purdiness =D

As for intimidation. am very much of the opinion that that is what "they" want and just plays directly into "their" hands. The only advantage of such mass surveillance is that people think like that so the "problem" stuff sticks out like a sore thumb. Great. Am glad that it does. But am considerably less glad that to do that apparently necessitates scanning and scoring virtually every form of communication we have at all times, in all places, no matter who you are. As such, fuck 'em. The only means of defence is not to hide behind encryption and security (cos, as you rightly point out, the vast majority of us plebs wouldn't have the faintest clue how to actually use it properly even if we had it) but is to swamp the fukkers in drivel. They want every communication we communicate no matter what? Then give it to 'em. Every. Single. One.

I fully and actually - in real life - intend to blow shit up with IEDs tonight, tomorrow and every day from now. Prove me wrong, fukkers :p

(yes, i am well aware that even joshing about such shit is iffy as fuck in this climate but that's kinda the point really. if people weren't so intimidated by "them" then we have the power to fight back. but people are too intimidated so "they" will win. even i haven't got the balls to post random jihadi shit elsewhere cos at least there is context here. i have literally nothing to hide. i am also acutely aware that that matters not a single jot these days)

yeah they have totally succeeded in making people have the fear, prosecuting the odd person here and there who posted something dodgy on facebook or twitter and so on. sending people to prison for being a bit of a tosser online servers no other purpose than to intimidate people.

also look at how the turkish govt is going mental blaming twitter for the riots there. I mean god forbid people actually TALK to each other, can't have the citizenry organising themselves and being able to communicate with each other now, can we? much better for them to be isolated, scared of each other, and in fear of the government.

in that pic above, the orange lines ont he right atre the big transatlantic links that connect europ to america, then the rest shows the backbones connecting the rest of the continent. Basically a massive volume of traffic passes through london and can be inspected by GCHQ.

office of Tailored Access Operations :

According to former NSA officials interviewed for this article, TAO's mission is simple. It collects intelligence information on foreign targets by surreptitiously hacking into their computers and telecommunications systems, cracking passwords, compromising the computer security systems protecting the targeted computer, stealing the data stored on computer hard drives, and then copying all the messages and data traffic passing within the targeted email and text-messaging systems. The technical term of art used by NSA to describe these operations is computer network exploitation (CNE).

TAO is also responsible for developing the information that would allow the United States to destroy or damage foreign computer and telecommunications systems with a cyberattack if so directed by the president. The organization responsible for conducting such a cyberattack is US Cyber Command (Cybercom), whose headquarters is located at Fort Meade and whose chief is the director of the NSA, Gen. Keith Alexander.

these fuckers are up to some really dodgy stuff.
