Trackmenot Extension Some of the queries are hilarious :)

Hahahahahahhaa! Just installed this on the basis of potential hilarity. So far it's making me sound dodgier than I would otherwise do. First three things it's searched for are "espn results" "limewire" and "drew barrymore" :D

EDIT: And now "Ford-Ledger Denise Richards". Apparently the search engine peeps now think I'm an American teenage boy =D

EDIT 2: Latest ones: "Sarah Palin" "Abu Gharaib" and "Weight Watchers" - aaahahahahahhahahahhahaha! This thing is brilliant! =D

(well, mildy amusing anyway)

In vaguely related news, dunno if this is especially good or of interest to anybody but have just started trying out https://startpage.com/uk/? for searches. It's one of those "private and secure" search engines but seems a bit more useful than some of the others which are, frankly, a bit shit. This one actually uses Google but instead of coming from you it takes what you search for and googles it for you so in theory Google don't know who is searching for what. How well it works and whether it as actually of any real use I could not say but I do quite like the idea of not adding to the Google uberdatabase if possible. Just tried it a coupla times and is a tad slow but results look fine - certainly compared to DuckDuckGo and the like anyway.

The Startpage peeps are those properly paranoid US libertarian types as fas as I can tell (have heard interviews with the founder and she comes over pretty well actually) but obviously you are essentially just giving another company your search info for them to search on your behalf so is only of any possible use if they don't do a Google themselves. They claim to keep no records of any search or of who is searching though.

Hahahahahhahahaa! That is a brilliant idea, Lemming =D

So good I think I might celebrate by horribly murdering a few infidels <3

And latest TrackMeNot news is that it's currently onna binge of shitey pop stars and blonde bimbos. I fukkin <3 this extension <3

Shambles. That's a great big dirty bomb located in hounslow east of an idea. Britney Spears will make an appearance on TrackMeNot in shallah.

It's quite literally a ticking time bomb (located at the base of the London Eye) of an idea. TMN is currently enquiring about student loans and lotteries. And some bloke I've never heard of, peace be upon him.

Hahahhahahahhahaha! I saw on their site that they reckon that over time it adapts so it's less random and acts a bit more like what you actually search for only does so to great excess and going off on massive tangents. Or summat like that. At the moment it's just hilarical though, Mohammed =D

Apparently I'm currently back to being interested in laydeez. Drew Barrymore as I type this. Better than fukkin Rihanna who was the last laydee it had me looking for :D

Am so amused I might just go post off a batch of anthrax-laden letters to politicians <3

Just saw this:
I think the N.S.A. is awesome.

I just reread “Nineteen Eighty-Four”—it actually has a lot of good ideas in it!

There’s no such thing as a “bad” drone.

Sure am glad that I never talk to any foreigners.

I wouldn’t know the first thing about making ricin.

The Fourth Amendment is overrated.

If you ask me, Guantánamo is full of nothing but complainers.

Just changed my Facebook status from “Single” to “In a Relationship with America.”

I’m pretty sure my neighbor is cheating on his taxes.
Allah akbar!

pretty fucking random - but apparently the phone companies arent making much money on new customers now, as everyone pretty much now has a phone. thus its contract retention where their efforts are focused. you wield an incredible (okay.. a tad overstated perhaps) amount of power at this stage - and can get surprising concessions fairly easily. best way of going about it is finding another company you want to move to - tell them this.. and take the fucking piss, £10 off your monthly bill, extra minutes, extra data.. whatever. at worst all they can say is no, but they will bend over backwards to keep you. try it, we're all too fucking polite over here. well, not me.. but you get my point

also - am i going crazy, has the matrix farted.. or was this thread on five pages a few days ago :?

Tbh man, your talking to a guy who works for BT, and I imagine the mobile companies work in exactly the same way as ourselves. Every fuckers got broadband, so our target market are the oap's (or at least that's who I'm told to sell to in my coaching sessions), and retention is massive (hence why these companies have a separate department for retaining customers).

HOWEVER, they aren't gonna do fuck all for you whilst your under contract, simply cuz you're under contract, and they've got your business (or cancellation fees which 90% of people won't pay). They may be able to offer you a slight discount, but its gonna be a couple of quid at the most. When your not under contract however it's a different story. BT will go as low as £5 a month for unlimited copper bb and anytime calls, and i think off the top of my head £10 for infinity 2 and anytime calls, but its all about getting the right retention agent. Each person has targets of keeping a certain % of callers on a higher priced contract.

However I talk to a huge amount of people I talk to who don't realise they're out of contract, or are on one of our older and more expensive contracts. It's always worth a phone call to check whether your under contract, and if your not push for the cheapest deal possible. If the person you get won't give you a good deal, then just tell them your friend is paying less and you want what they're paying (they're obviously targeted on leavers). If that doesn't work hang up and try again, cuz the person your speaking to will be doing well on their weekly leavers targets. Likewise it's best to ring on a Monday, before the retention agents 'gone over' the amount of really good contracts they can offer.

But yeah, always ring whichever companies your with and see if they can offer you a better deal. Even if your under contract it maybe they can offer you something better.

Zoinks! My TMN is now searching "threatened with cfaa charges". Followed by simply "threatened with charges". I think it's on to me :sus:

They'll never take me alive! Down with the Decadent West!

Courage brother. Tin foil up the windows and wear your explosive underpants at all times. We will defeat the infidels in shallah

There is a new Jihadi encrypted messaging protocol 'Bitmessage' Using this will allow you to prepare for the final battle with the unclean ones, beyond the eyes of the snooping charlatan and her kabal of infidels inshallah. PM me for testing and final thought conditioning.
