Princess high: Lady Gaga smokes a joint on stage

To people saying its a publicity stunt.... I think its pretty unlikely. I think someone just handed her a joint and she decided to smoke it and say a quick word about how its stupid its illegal, nothing more then that, I doubt she realized the media would find it to be anything of significance (especially over a concert in Amsterdam of all fuckin places)

But i saw CH in concert here once and we were all smoking bongs in the crowd, and J's and they had this huge blow up bong on stage, and i think they smoked weed on stage too, the whole arena stank, it was a fun night, the security were all cool too, there was probably a few thousand of us there.

whats the difference? hip hop is one of the most openly capitalistic music forms out there. wu - to make money, bdp - to make money, cypress hill - to make money, hip hop is (or rather was) made to be as appealing to a certain demographic as possible, if smoking weed/rapping about it would lose them sales they wouldn't have done it.

i say this as someone who has a "BDP" tattoo, i regret that. haha.

It’s no secret that artists, especially musicians, are fond of the green, so in this edition of Pop Ups we take a look at three female stars who have made headlines for their pot use.

Fiona Apple Busted for Hash, Who’s the ’Criminal’ Now?

Awkward indie songstress Fiona Apple was arrested for possession of hashish in Sierra Blanca, Texas this week after a Border Patrol drug-sniffing dog discovered her stash on the singer’s tour bus, the Associated Press reported.

A spokesman for the Hudspeth County sheriff’s office said Apple, 35, spent Wednesday night in the county jail but was released Thursday after plunking down a $10,000 bond. Rusty Flemming also said the "Criminal" singer "had a little tiny amount of pot and hash." He added that Apple had a small possession of the drug and was slapped with a misdemeanor, even though any amount of hashish in Texas is considered a felony.

Apple isn’t the only celebrity to be caught with weed at the Sierra Blanca checkpoint. Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and Armand Hammer all have been arrested on marijuana charges.


She’s the Man: Amanda Bynes Drives While Smoking Pot, Eats Fast Food

Amanda Bynes is living the dream. Sort of.

TMZ reports that 26-year-old actress was driving aimlessly for hours on Tuesday while smoking out of an alleged marijuana pipe in Las Angeles. The website obtain photos of Bynes, who has a suspended license, that show the child star taking hits out of a pipe that looks like a cigarette car lighter.

It looks like the former "All That" actress started her day at Baja Fresh (a Tex Mex fast-food chain in California) where she took hits in the eatery’s parking lot before stuffing her face with tacos. It must have been a stressful lunch since she then spent three hours at a spa. After that, the actress reportedly drove around for a number of hours aimlessly. She eventually ended up at Home Depot, where she smoked again from the pipe, and then bought colored light bulbs, according to TMZ.

The website also noted that they confirmed the DMV suspended Bynes’ license on August 25 and suggested the reason was due to her refusal to take a sobriety test when she was arrested for a DUI in April.

More recently, the Disney star was kicked out of her gym class for exhibiting odd behavior, TMZ also reported. According to the site, Bynes suddenly stopped participating in the 50-minute spin class and began to walk around aimlessly in an attempt to switch bikes. About 25-minutes later she did it again but this time she decided to reapply her makeup. The instructor was fed up with her antics and booted her from the class.



Lady Gaga is a big fan of pot

Being Lady Gaga comes with all sorts of perks: you get to wear meat dresses, be called Mother Monster by millions and even be handed a bag of pot by fans while preforming in Amsterdam.

While the "Born This Way" singer was on stage in the Netherlands’s capital and biggest city, an adoring fan reached out to her and gave her a lighter and a plastic bag full of Mary Jane, the Huffington Post reported.

"Holland, is it real?" Gaga asked before smelling the bag’s contents and then confirming in fact, it was the real deal. She then lit up the joint and took a few puffs before saying it was "not enough" to get her high. But she did say she does enjoy "wondrous marijuana."

"I want you to know it has totally changed my life and I’ve really cut down on drinking," the pop singer said. "It has been a totally spiritual experience for me with my music."

Staten Island Borough President James Molinaro made derogatory remarks towards Lady Gaga Monday, denouncing the singer as a "slut."

The Staten Island Advance reports Molinaro was speaking at an anti-drug initiative when he suggested Lady Gaga sets a negative example for young people:

Stop glorifying the drug use. There's Gaga. Here's this... this... I would call her a slut. This slut is influencing many, many children ... and it's right to do. It's fine, it's part of it."
He added his two young nieces love the singer and said, "To me, she's not an actress, she's a slut ... in the pure meaning of the word.

Molinaro was pointing to a photo of Gaga at a performance in Amsterdam, when the singer lit a joint on stage and praised marijuana as "wondrous." She also credited marijuana for helping her spiritually, and helping her cut down on drinking.

Molinaro lost a son to a drug overdose in 2006.

This isn't Molinaro's first display of offensive words. In 2011, the politician was being interviewed about how Staten Island was dealing with the snowstorm, when he unknowingly dropped some angry, foul language into the mic.

I dont see anything wrong with stuffing ones face full of tacos. As a matter of fact, I would be overjoyed were my face the one being stuffed with [a proverbial] taco..
 
Lady Gaga ‘snacking at night’

Lady Gaga has apparently been enjoying midnight feasts.

The pop singer has hit the headlines recently after showing off a fuller figure. Gaga recently performed in Amsterdam and revealed that using marijuana has been a “spiritual experience” for her.

It has now been claimed that Gaga’s use of the drug has led to her tucking into her favourite junk foods at night.

“The weight Gaga has put on isn’t about the amount she is consuming in the day – it’s late at night,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “With her intense performances right now she’s burning off thousands of calories each night anyway so she will probably see some weight drop off over the next few weeks.”

In response to the negative comments about her weight, Gaga has launched a page on her Little Monsters website called A Body Revolution 2013. She is urging her fans to embrace their body shape, just like she has.

It has also been claimed that Gaga is in no rush to lose weight because her boyfriend Taylor Kinney is a fan of her new curves.

“She won’t be succumbing to any pressure to drop the pounds,” the source added. “Gaga takes food seriously and doesn’t want to deprive herself of it, especially when she’s happy with how she looks.”

man I'd love to smoke with amanda bynes. I've always found her hot as shit, and i've done similar. Rolling around smoking blunts, getting fast food, rolling around some more listening to music, etc. (not that I condone using drugs and driving)
 
the sad part is that this performer is so popular i actually wouldnt doubt that she would change the presidents mind on cannabis. Just goes to show that everyone, from every part of the world, from every walk of life smokes cannabis. I obviously dont mean EVERYONE but damn, when lady gaga is talking about speaking with the president about cannabis that should tell everyone something. America likes its ganja
