Primo Covers v. Better Than The Original

Did he died too the month after the performance ?

It doesn t sounds so or touch my emotions as if, as the version i posted.
I actually dislike this song and especially this cover. You posted seemed shallow.
Not personal aimed offcourse/
But the difference ... amazing
But many have sung it a way it didn t touch me at all.

All the emotion in the song seems lost.
Easy as its a rotten song, some gem s do it their way.
Not these Pavarorottian s, they imo ruine it.

But when near death.

Firstly, I thought you had used your forehead to post but guessing you're Dutch...so fair enough! 😁

Opera singers; going to do operatics. Guess it's an occupational hazard - Pavarotti had a fucking amazing set of lungs that came out through those sweet vocal chords - commercial interest brought Italian opera into the mainstream - not a bad thing imho - not necessarily edgy, music wise; not necessarily 'deep'- but i guess neither is doing a slow camera shot of the Hilton in a vid intro highlighting 'the artist at work amid the torment of capital gains'.

I like that vid, though.

Irony cannot be ironed.💜

Kid trauma my Granny worked in the Theatre, she got lots of free tickects.
And kids should be exposed to different culture s/ art and music forms.

Saw Opera s, stopera s, and those Chinese drummer s. Now i would find actually cool.
But during the first two, we the kids sneaked away to eat the buffet s cookies.
And throw sugarcubes from the private boxes that were high and perfect hide outs.

So that might explain it, I hated classic music just because.
It was always played in the dentist waiting room, Pavlov.
Got over that, maybe Opera to but i get a very Andre Rieu feel from it.
While i don t get it with throat singing or church guire s.

The Hilton roof, had a meaning. He was gonna end his live there.
It was his 2-nd home, the bar. One night went to the roof jumped down RIP
11-6 or 6-11 for US, 2001 he jumped, so this recording just a moment before.

Same with Jan Rot s Dutch [translated] amazing version.
Totaly different. Excact same feel.

The camera shot on the roof as you might allready read, was DEEP.
deeper then when or how it was shot, but his voice is the Gem in the song imo.

Found this from Jan Rot who was more a Chanson type.
Who also recorded his ´my way' version just before his Death, cancer.
Many artists i know did that, but i restricted to our Dutch icon s.

Jan Rot in this song, mentions Pavarotti, on his great voice at 0:20.
So he was definetly a admiirerer of him. Placed between Einstein, Jezus and Elvis.

Didge players do Classic Plilemonic performance as rappers.
Today anything goes, but i take your and Jan Rot s word for it Pavarotti is good.

He was praised for his voice, i wonder what if he would crossover Opera,
and mash-it up with other music style s ? Would ease me in opera.
Unnoticeable.
