Update: I've completed the first phase of pt and my abdominal tear is almost completely healed! While that is great the knee problem is still a great concern of mine. I can't even look for employment right now bc I can't stand for very long.
I know this has been covered a bit earlier in this thread, but what opioid or adjunct would be best for me considering that I have neuropathy, especially associated with sites of previous surgeries?
Methadone has been mentioned, but I very highly doubt that my surgeon will give me a script for it, even though I've gone through most generic medications for nerve pain.
I won't have the money to see a pain management doctor for quite awhile so I'll really need to stick to my surgeon.
Besides the hydro, oxycodone, and tramadol what are my options? I've recently learned a bit about compound such as orphenadrine, would something like that help?
