Pretty face VS hot body, which one is more important to guys?

Yep.

About the girls taking the initiative thing, I've actually sort of got to agree with that for some parts of the world. I noticed in Paris, and France in general, men will very rarely come up to you and hit on you - women really are expected to do it. But since I've moved to London I've gotta say the roles are quite reversed here.
Don't really know why that is.

Whilst I agree with you to a certain extent - everyone has their beauty, and it shines if they're happy enough even if their body is scarred, overweight or unhealthy in various other ways...

Ideally though, you're not gonna want to pick someone who is overweight, but would do in hope they would pull themselves together, with your loving support, if their personality was amazing.

BUT I seem to remember studies being done over the last few hundred years, surveying and calculating the ideal attractive body measurements. They're nothing like what is advertised now, and therefore I believe them to be as close to instinctive as possible at the moment, with today's current widespread conditioning. For example the "perfect" hip, thigh, bum and breast measurements a man finds the urge to mate with - potential childbearing indicators. There are of course 3-7 sizes of healthy people, the nervous skinny people, up to the heavyset slow people, so there must be various actual measurements, to fit in with proportion.

There must have been studies into what a woman looks for too - male proportions etc.

To be honest, from my knowledge and observations, I would not be surprised at all if "pi" or "phi" came into the perfect proportion calculations. I will share later, I'm not able to multi-tab online right now.

My findings would of course be sources about who it was back in the day and the studies over the years, I never said my observations or knowledge were based on my direct experience. Take it to PM if you got a problem, buddy.

I kinda agree with your statement about pre-calculated criteria, except everyone has them, for some people (idiots) they're just very rigid. Everyone has their own taste in mates. Some are conditioned (mine mostly come from art history class- pre-raphaelite women) and others instinctive - literally whatever floats my boat at the time of passing.

Not all amazing looking women believe they are. They don't see it in themselves, kinda weird but cool at the same time.

Pi I think would come in only in so far as it applies to ratios of all continuous smooth curves, i.e. expressing something in terms of radians. Phi is just a bunch of nonsense imo (aside from it's formal mathematical interest) and it gets shoehorned into aesthetics waaaay too much.

Average face( no not an ugly one either) descent tits(c or small d with just a tad bit of saggyness) and a nice fat ass and/or nice hips.....If u referred to bein naked then a pretty pu••• wins everytime for me
 
In a dude, I like all-around handsome. He doesn't have to be skinny and I actually like a little bit of chub (male love handles in moderation), but I've never been one to go for a beer gut.

I've gotta be honest though, I'm gonna have to say face because if I'm not that interested/ attracted/ curious to begin with, then even the hottest body doesn't do much good.

that being said, there's also got to be chemistry as well, and while chemistry is physical (8)) there are many attributes that are not- attitude, outlook, and personality.

Physical chemistry is physical, in that deals with chemistry using physically meaningful abstractions and concepts and is it essentially overlaps with atomic physics. Organic, inorganic, synthetic, etc chemistry on the other hand, uses abstractions and concepts that are unphysical. They work for making chemicals, but they don't really describe whats going on in a physical way. (Acid/base, nucleophiles and electrophiles, bond angles/strain/rings, etc...don't really reflect physical reality.) Oh wait. That's not what you meant, is it?
 
i'm dating a girl with a pretty face, smallish boobs, great ass (in proportion to her body) and her figure is not extremely slim but it is in full proportion. it does it for me :)
 
I was always hard to please, all my friends would see a chick rate here 8 out of 10 etc. then they would ask me what I thought, I would say she was a 5... tough in my head I was thinking, shes a 2 (would never tell anybody though)
and even then my friends thought that I was heard to please. Then they would see they're idea of a 5 and ask me what I thought. In my head I wouldn't even rate her. And I was always turned off by ugly girls...

But just recently I was seduced by an ugly girl, and I can't stop thinking about her. For like a month I've been thinking about her but it feels like, like 7 months! I want to see her again but she lives to far away from me so it wouldn't end well. Never happened to me before, ever. And to me she's a perfect 10! sucks. Pretty face or hot body? before this I would have said both no exception. but now I know its neither because as long as they are well groomed like anyone else taking care of themselves...

Girls can always seduce if they have a good eye game.
 
Face, easily. I do tend to like more thick, curvy women, to the point where I'd say I prefer BBW girls, but that's just a bonus. As long as she has a cute face, I couldn't care less about the body unless she was over 300-350 lbs. My buddies think a lot of the girls I like are gross, but if I like their face their body means nothing really

who cares what your friends think really. my friends have dated unattractive women but I don't care as long as they're happy. I've dated women who I thought were incredibly beautiful and after it ended, my friends tell me she just seemed mediocre. they respect my happiness and I respect theirs.
I can't really vote on this issue though brain is most important. I guess brain>body=face. some bodies can be compensated with a nice face and vice versa. while some cant.
