If the pill is designed to be sublingual (under the tongue- and yes it does matter if it's on top of your tongue, as opposed to actually under it), you should take it that way. That's the best way anyway, next to injection/insufflation, neither of which are an option in your case due to solubilty issues.
Put it under your tongue and let it dissolve completely.
As far as potentiation goes, about 1-2 hours before you want to take it, take 200-300 mg of cimetidine (AKA- Tagamet). Tagamet inhibits the enzyme responsible for the metabolism of clonazepam, CYP 450(3A4), thus allowing it to persist in your plasma for longer periods of time.
It works well (from experiece)...also, chug the Tagamet (1 or 2), and the following clonazepam down with some regular (not the pink or Ruby Red) grapefruit juice. It can't hurt...Hope this helps 'ya out...
