bob loblaw and chainsaw... i saw the #12, from a second story window (one of my favs), end of all, and ion dissonance at a VERY tiny show at a bar in columbus once. one of my favorite shows to date. i've seen between the buried and me (one of my top 3 bands of all time) a number of times, including once on my birthday before "alaska" came out... they played with the red chord, acacia strain, and a couple other bands, but i can't remember who all now. i found out that day though that i have the same birthday as guy kozowyk (lead singer of the red chord) and i got my copy of BTBAM's self titled album autographed by all the members of the band. it was BALLIN.

^Fucking word bro. BTBAM is actually from my hometown (part of it at least), so people I'm friends with would talk about how they hung out with Underoath and other bands BTBAM would chill with haah.

You've heard of Glass Casket?! You from NC?

nope. ohio, born and raised. but we had a pretty good hardcore scene around here a while back. i was balls deep in it. haven't been to a show in about 2 or 3 years though so i don't know if it's still thriving like it was.

a buddy of mine played guitar for a band called the heartland who were at the time extremely good. he actually was gonna play for into the moat, which would have been AWESOME, but he was about to have a baby at the time and made the decision to stick around instead of touring.

i've been lucky enough though to have VERY musical friends and therefore have never had to look too hard for good music (though don't let that fool you, i still look). :D
