post some pop!

Sakamoto played the villain opposite David Bowie in this WW2 movie

He also composed the soundtrack. Sylvian added lyrics and the title theme renamed Forbidden Colours was a hit song in Japan/UK.

Has anyone seen the movie? Is it worth seeing?

Lol. Playing Rage on the road!

Innocent song choice there some generations back AI I see.

So cunningly and deviously influential.

Ohhh wow, thats Bryan Adams is it?? Hell yes, feeling transporter chills of early childhood, with this song & that absolutely timeless guitar sound
The 80s defined itself by what it wasn't: Disco sucks which it kind of did but also any commercially successful artist was fair game.

Bryan Adams went from being cool to being uncool practically overnight and I'm not sure why @alasdairm might know this but he either was parodied or made fun of himself on Saturday Night Live or SCTV....from that point on if you listened to his music you kept it to yourself.

Dis the one.

And ofc. Ra. In Rage.

Ra is the parasitic AI invading consciousness here. Which deeply inhabits and owns the so called gaming environment.

Ever thought of a conspiracilling link between that Ra and that hack pharoah Akhenaton who crashed a cheap Hyandai called "Ra monotheism"into ancient egyptian society?

Im pretty open to the possibility he was manipulated on a deep level. People seem to be fascinated by Akhenaton, ive sensed. But i admit i only know the broad strokes.

Egypt was on the downslide anyway, the skies were blackening, monothiest claws were looking like the Babylon5 thingies, and from what i understand that period was where the state started ransacking, vandalising, certain temples & god images.

A fuckshowfistfuck, sprinkled with a little Supermarket Sweep, and a gallon of the Price Is Right. [just imo..not dogma]

Please elaborate!! I had to let that sit for a while.

When you say defined by what it wasnt...do you mean that disco gotswept away by all the hate..and so...was it a corporate fucking swoop maneuver. Were they the architects. I mean haha why would the USA not go atomic against Disco?
Idk im just having a laugh. I dunno much about disco except there was a groundswell of rage and in this moment, ive realised thats govt...to me.. Bryan adams thing is fascinating too

Well said.

Over a decade later, the singer of that band had a moderate hit in the US under his given name of Edwyn Collins with this song, a northern-soul throwback that you may remember:

I think ...we have a Hit :p🤟

Haven't heard that in a long time....like who knows 15 years or more...sounds so fresh! I looked it up..released 1994..wow...timeless music around then. And also two subtle, but very significant wave changes in Morrissey's hair. Also a denim change that year. Some of us KNOW the links between this & everything-else-in-existence..

Hi. I know not of these things, matters, histories, identities, objects that you refer to here.

I confess to being terribly unschooled. I never read anything growing up, through school, college, university.

Literally the bare minimum, and rarely voluntary. No internet use until 2005 really, save for a light occasional scratch of the surface during degree years, but the internet wasn't at all required for my degree or study.

No mobile until 2005 too. Free roamer. So I read practically nothing for 25 years, like 0.01% of most up and coming schoolers.

I did read the Beano though lol.

I have hundreds dating back to when the comic sold for 2D, before even the English Penny.

As child, best friends we loved the weekly Beanos.

I never got into the Dandy. But I would if I did it all again, I like how Desperate Dan lives.

Happy, big, strong, comfortable. Always eating pies.

But I always recognised who has the best of the best. The greatest superbero IMO.

Makes Neo look like an amoeba.

Billy Whizz. He cannot lose. He doesn't even need the superpower of pausing time.
He's invincible. Can avhieve, do, anything in a split second.

So I did eventually turn my nose into a few books and websites, from 2005 and Lyme. It was vital to study, research, uncover and learn, in order to make sense, survive and heal.

Loads of food diet & nutritional stuff intially. I learnt a few things.

But until then, I remember that I had this belief or feeling that I was somehow preserving my own individuality by not reading everything everybody else was saying and reciprocating and having it impress upon my imagination.

I remember speaking with a friendly builder when working on a building site 21 years ago and he found my attitude strange here and insisted that there was so much to be gained from reading books while I presented my case that I am preserving my own unique thought processes and imagination.

I can actually see it from both angles now and I do genuinely feel that by having taken that path I developed in a different way more freely mentally without blocking the possibility to learn later on in life.

So you see I really am actually very uneducated.
