My mum & sister just got back from greece! mum spent 3 months over there - 2 in thessaloniki and 1 in athens & the southern islands. are you just staying around athens? most of my rel's are in thess but a few are in athens so we popped down there a few times. getting a nice tan are ya bish?
 
o yesh well i was down in glyfada (suburbs / beaches outside athens) for the last week, i'm staying mostly with my yiayia in central athens, when i'm not traveling or passed out in a boat on some island that is. leaving to island hop w/ some cousins aunts and uncles on thursday though, i am very happy about that :] lots of sun and the weathers always perfect, amazing~!

ah the weather. everytime i've gone i've come back looking aboriginal.

we aren't a rare breed. in the 50's & 60's many migrated over here

and enjoy yiayias cooking for as long as you can! you'll miss it when you get home.

Yeah, and it's pretty common/traditional for Greek Australians to visit Greece.
 
I wonder what % of their visitors each year are from Australia considering we have the largest Greek population out of Greece????

I remember one year when I was going out with a boy that had a traditional Greek family and his mum made me up this awesome plate of traditional biscuits and stuff for Easter. He was kind of a twat though, biscuits aside.
