Having just arrived at the falls on a packed day and with somewhat of a "golden glow" on, the first thing I saw was a guy jump into the water from that very spot, and emerge with a large flap of his forehead hanging over his face exposing his skull. People were screaming, including his girlfriend. I handed him my new white towel before setting out getting him to the top and off to hospital. Wonder what ever happened to that towel...

Unless something has changed since I was there last, the depth is better on the other side of the waterfall.

Strange, I've been to same spot so many times; probably jumped off there close to 50 times.
I have swum down with goggles on in that end of the water hole and it's all very deep.
Some people doing back flips and diving in, I can only bring myself to jump feet first, just in case.
Poor bloke obviously hit something, might think twice next time
BTW - I'm not sure by memory how much of a cliff is over the side of the waterfall. That's right by the tree with the rope swing.

Can't really see it in this photo, but this afternoon down the beach the sky was purple, literally purple!
And my roast. Thank you Jamie Oliver and drunk barman at the pub last night for the tips. Also steamed a big pan of veggies, I'm trying to get the energy to saute a chicken breast I should cook tonight and make a nice white sauce to go all together. Should have plenty of meals for work and snacks for a bit now
It was half a 2kg pork shoulder, I cut it in half with the help of my hacksaw!

That looks like an amazing pork roast, Klue! Yikes! I've only ever had crackling once, and I wasn't a huge fan - but Busty keeps raving about it and trying to get me to give it another go. If it looks like yours, he might be successful.

^ The crackling was good. Secret is turn the oven up as high as it goes and after scoring and rubbing with salt bake it for 20 minutes. Smoke filled the house and was streaming out the doors and windows. All this housework and stuff, I'm exhausted. I'm going to go have a coronary now

At Falls Festival this/last year some two guys we were with (up all night's friends) bought those suits beforehand but didn't tell anyone else (including girlfriends). They left the festival ground on one of the days while we were sitting around and came back wearing them (blue and black) but none of us had any idea it was them. Then they just sat down next to us and everyone was a bit wigged out. It was absolutely hilarious, especially seeing as they must have planned it months before.
Even more hilarious later on when they started wrestling on the ground in the middle of the festival (like a 40 degree day in the sun) and a bunch of people were standing around them taking photos. Anyway, those suits are fucking freaky.
