So you poppy tea experts. I have a question for you.
I"ve never got anything of this shit [i really haven't, i'm not a denier who's trying to keep their supply safe]
Never as a kid, and never this year after reading the threads on here. But this is the strange thing I noticed between 2 doses.
I tried the grape fruit method juice wash method, and with first attempt it was very obvious the seeds did not suck in the liquid, as the amount poured in equated to simply feeling the voids between seeds, and also when liquid removed again the poppy seeds has pretty much their same weight.
2nd attempt as I was pouring in the liquid it became immediately obvious the seeds were sucking up the liquid, and I had to pour many many times more liquid in as the seeds were like sponges and when pouring liquid out, the seeds were very very heavy indicating the liquid went in and never came out. The juice was at room temperature on both occasions, and perhaps the 2nd attempt juice was a little warmer [being a warmer day] but it certainly wasn't hot.
I didn't get decent effects from either, but have you guys ever noticed that some batches of seeds are sponges while others don't absorb. And is there any correlation between sponge seeds and non sponge speeds as far as seeds that worked and those that didn't?
I was wondering if some seeds are washed to an extent where their protective shell is removed and thus become sponges, and maybe for health and safety reasons it's possible to consider them duds, but if they don't act like sponges you need to be more careful as the possiblility is they could be active and are less washed?
Just putting it out there. Not saying I"ve stumbled across anything that could determine potency but maybe you experienced people can think back to bad and good batches and tell me if there's any correlation.
