well since the original post also asked "which gets more bang for the buck" good LSD gets more bang for your buck than good shrooms, but as far as which i enjoy more, they are both great for different things. I would never take mushrooms at a concert but I've tripped on acid at many concerts

LSD is so cheap. to get decently high on shrooms you need to spend at least $35-40 and you dont get much visuals, just a decent boom trip... but for $5-10 you can get enough acid to trip balls for 8 hours with incredible visuals.

L is much rarer tho, and it makes no sense that its cheaper IMO.

maybe i just react differently than most of you but i found out last night that shrooms are much more visual and less mental than acid. i ate about 2-2.5 grams yesterday and i was tripping in the fact that there were significant visuals, but it wasn't much more than that. maybe it was just my mindset and setting. where the shrooms were in the day and the acid was a night but i found the acid to be much more intense, overwhelming, and introspective than the shrooms but the acid wasn't all that visual, i walked out of my first acid trip saying "that was one crazy ride" but when the shrooms were done there were no great epiphanies or deep thinking just an alerted state of mind that i was reasonably functional in... im going to try them again but im going with a full eighth. i liked the fact that acid was overwhelming, it changed my outlook on life and i learned alot about myself that night but no so much with the shrooms...

If you've been "overwhelmed" on acid but not on mushrooms you havn't done enough/good enough mushrooms

Nothing at all against acid by any means

But mushrooms can be just as, if not way more overwhelming

The Mushroom trip of 2004. . . . . . . Wow!. . . I lost the power of speech. I turned into an animal there were howls there was chanting and drooling. . . .

It was like eternity, it seemed like i was high for many moons gone passed.

Then my buddie told me it had been 3 hours. . . . . . . Words cannot express how shocked i was buy the time perception.

Yeah I like LSD but mushrooms will get you VERY high more than any of my acid trips.

Psilocin.

It's far more spiritual and Earthy. I find that it creates a more intense experience.

However, I do love good LSD. LSD is geometrical and colorful. It creates room for alot of fun, but it has its limits when it comes of psychological and spiritual exploration. The one thing I do find fascinating with LSD is that the visuals are very unique and "in your face" even at low doses if you have quality product. With Psilocin, in order to get intense visuals, you have to accept the fear that comes with it.

I love both depending on the situation, but when it comes down to it, I'd choose Psilocin over LSD if I could only trip once more.

As far as the price, mushrooms are free for me. I pick them in the spring and fall. LSD is around $6-8 a hit around here, but it is always top quality.

To me, mushrooms are the most mental, spiritual, overwhelming, beautiful, powerful, horrifying, psychotic, enlightening, in-your-face and amazing psychedelic there is, hands down. I think sometimes people have a hard time having a full mushroom experience because full doses can be a very difficult experience, and if you give in to the fear the experience can become pretty psychotic, causing you to block it out or try your best to ignore it, which results in a sub-par experience that leaves a bad impression. Or, they take too little, in the wrong setting, or get weak mushrooms (as they vary greatly in potency) and then write them off as fun but shallow.

shrooms get my vote.
I find lsd to be more intense, overwhelming and exhausting(do to the length of the trip) + with blotter/tabs/sugar cubes you never know how much you are taking...

SHROOMS JUST CUZ lsd around here is not even worth it to buy.....and the acid that i have done my trips are not as profound as a shroom tripp

lsd for me. i don't like the shorter duration of mushies, personally :/ i love shrooms, but in a different way. they're very earthy, animal like... if i'm in that mood, i go for that.

also, they're much more expensive.

Mushrooms always have some seriously dark undercurrents for me, mental images/notes of organic decay, bodily functions, et cetera ... throws me down, earthbound, not really in the sense of "connecting with nature", but in the sense of being in thrall to organic processes ... LSD propels me into cosmic oneness ... astral projection ... none of this is to say that I don't enjoy or find productive a good mushroom trip, much to the contrary, but LSD gives me more of what I am looking for in a psychedelic. I think it is a matter of personality and interests more than of one being a "better" psychedelic than the other. Myself, I am not as connected to the earth as some, truly, and I think that's probably a negative, something I should work on ... which probably entails some mushroom trips ... but oh, how I love LSD, and how it propels me skyward ...
