A young man - a Baptist preacher - stopped by Border Patrol. Cops demand to search his car. Preacher invokes 4th amendment rights. Cops allege the K-9 unit alerted on drugs or humans secreted in the preacher’s car, though preacher doesn’t see dog react at all. Cops claim dog equals probable cause and invoke hammers to smash preacher’s windows out, tasers used repeatedly on preacher, preacher’s face torn up into bloody mess as cops smash his face into broken glass.

Don’t forget these Border Patrol thugs are now conducting operations within 100 miles of the border. This is how our government is going to protect us from the scourge of Mexican trafficking of marijuana that Americans want to smoke and cheap labor that Americans want to hire. Is this how President Obama plans to “crack down” on drug use in America?

Maybe they just wanted to beat a preacher half to death. Seems like something I would fake an excuse to do if I was a cop.

Hopefully this guy takes it to court and uses the check-point surveillance as evidence. Does not matter even if the dog did signal, police do not have the power to push a suspect's face into broken glass if he is not resisting.
 
problem is he refused to answer they're questions which they are legally allowed to do. those checkpoints have also been ruled legal.

once you refuse to answer questions and then in turn, refuse to consent to search you are consider resisting or hostile.

sure they didn't have to break the glass or tase him but it would hold up in court and he sure as hell isn't going to be pulling that stunt again.
 
K-9 units are a scam; those dogs live with the cops, of course they're going to train the dogs to false alert! It's their fucking pet, for chrissakes; you can teach dogs all sorts of tricks.

Agreed 100%. I was in the car when a k-9 alerted to the "smell of drugs". The officers tore apart the entire car and found absolutely nothing.

No, you're completely wrong. All you have to tell a police officer is your name and address. Nothing more. In no way is refusing to consent to a search grounds for ANY further action on the part of law enforcement.
 
Exactly. There has never been a court case that ruled that refusing a search equalled resisting.

Actually, just about everything on the subject says you do not have to consent. DUH! That's the whole point of the constitution, you don't have to consent to a search, because if they had enough evidence, they don't have to ask for your consent.

Now this is just stupid. First, it has nothing to do with Obama's 'regime.' You think these BP agents take their orders right from the President? How does he have time to grant this sort of access to everyone? Equating Obama's administration with the Nazis? Good job, you're a fucking joke dude. What exactly has he done remotely in the vein of totalitarianism? Not a thing. He may not have rolled back Bush policies far enough, but he's not remotely a fascist.

That preacher has the right attitude. He's utterly livid and ready to tear someone's throat out.

And, since the police search yielded nada, our preacher is in a much better situation when he wants to bring this to a juridicial fight. I really liked this guy. He was ENRAGED by the misapplication of justice. And it seems like he's the kind of guy who won't get beated down by the system. I like this guy.
 
No evidence. All of this shit is based off one video by one guy who has a couple stitches of which you could easily fake. Let me see some surveillance footage or something then i might believe.
 
Oh, you can bet there were dash cams that recorded this. Unless they 'accidentally' forgot to turn them on or turned it off.

Wouldn't be the first time that happened.

if you refuse to answer a cop's questions, he will be suspicious of you which will prompt a search.

i guess my point is that the pastor could of saved himself a lot of grief by answering the questions the cops were entitled to ask rather than trying to be a hero.

i ain't saying what the cops did was right but lets face it, nothing will most likely come from this incident.
 
I am waiting for the president to outlaw these devil tasers, thats what I am waiting for. These "tasers" are killing people, enough is enough already, get rid of those evil things, its like I keep hearing about more people dying from those things as time goes by. Whoever agress on banning tasers press 1
