Some meds have a better bioavailability when plugged thats one reason to plug. Also to the OP have you ever heard of suppositories? They are meant to be taken that way.

The only drug i plus now is gravol suppositories. They are dimenhydrinate in suppository form. They are useful for when your sick and can't keep any pills down. I used to get morphine suppositories as well and they worked good for when i was sick and couldnt take pills.
