PLEASE HELP ME EMERGENCY

You didn't say how much he drank, but drinking a LOT and then not being able to be awakened can be a sign of alcohol poisoning and is very serious. Here's an article about it:
http://www.ahealthyme.com/topic/alcpoison
Any time you can't wake someone by pinching, shouting, moving them around, you've got a serious situation and they should go to the hospital asap.
Hope he's ok.

lets look at the true pathetic-ness/desperation of this fucked up situation. your friend can't wake up after doing something really careless and you turn to us for advice, in a website, ON A FUCKING WEBSITE!!! your friends life hangs in the balance and you turn to a website for help, all I can hope is that this is some sort of sick joke.
the moment you realised he couldn't wake up, you should have taken him to the hospital. they are usually soft on people that bring in drug od's, cos its the best idea at the time. fuck, you turn to a fucking website.

you're out of your fucking mind. he did a smart thing by doing anything, most people wouldn't.

Umm...I dunno, but I'm thinking he would have been ok if he would of laid off the heroin and drank a couple beers. My guess is it's the smack that did him in, but what do i know..

You can't blame heroin or beer... BUT when i see the word 'bunch' and then followed with a story about someone on the edge of death, I get skeptical. I imagine a night of partying where he's trying to 'get the ultimate high' by using beer to get 'more fucked up'
drugs don't kill people... ignorance kills people

Praying won't do shit! Taking him to the hospital earlier would have made a bigger difference than blabbering to some fucking fairy tale.

No one cares about your religious beliefs

People have been dinging this poor guy for not reacting quicker and taking his friend to the hospital sooner, but I wonder how many people would make the right call in a similar situation? Even sober people in a regular day to day situation, like an accident or being really sick, can have a hard time deciding whether it's serious enough to go to the hospital.
This brings up something worth thinking about - it's a good idea to decide ahead of time, while sober, what would constitute an emergency situation, and when someone should go to the hospital. That way nobody has to make the decision while panicky or tripping or whatever.

^^ I agree. I dont think everyone is going to react nobel in a situation like that. Like I said , people can go into denial when something bad happens , its like a temporary psychosis. You tell yourself everything going to be ok.
I'm not 'just' blaiming the beer , its obviously the 2 combined , but a lot of these narcotic deaths involve alcohol , but everyone blames the heroin , or the oxy.etc , and if they laid off the beer , they would have lived. I'm just trying to say that it wasnt the 'evil' heroin , but more of the shitty beer.
BTW - we haven't heard from this guy. Everything could be ok and he just isn;t bothering to tell us , or his fried didn't make it and he is in a world of shit. its a shame if he didn't make it , but I would like to know.....

You know, when I started H, I checked out a lot of resources that discuss the dangers signs of an OD- I used some common sense. I would certainly want to save my friend rather than stick him in some back room. HeroinHelper.com has some great stuff on ODing and what steps to take. I also have basic CPR and first aid experience as well as advanced studies on the subjects. I'd prefer to be educated- and you can bet I talk about this with the people I do H with so they know what to do as well.
And as far as the praying bullshit- you people really want me to believe that's better than a doctor? HA!

Yeah, it's all part of the harm reduction thing. That we accept a certain risk is a given - but we can lessen the risk by preparing ahead of time for the worst case scenario.
Sure hope this guy's ok.

This is one of my best friends that we're talking about here. Unfortunately hes not ok. The event happened Sat. night and its now wednesday afternoon. Hes still in a coma and all of his organs are seriously damaged. He is now considered stable and i don't think any more damage can be done, hopefully he can only get better. Thanks to everyone that helped out.

The only thing about going on this 420 fellow is , I have many friends, whom after comsuming large amounts of drugs, are IMPOSSIBLE to wake, even with shaking and cold water. there simply unresponsive, i would have just taken vital signs every 5 min....

^ your right and don't let anyone give you shit about being new , which they will. you seem intellegent enough.

Just curious, the bodily damage done from this sort of thing.. is it caused from excessive lack of oxygen from the shallow breathing, mixed with the extremely slow heartrate?

This is a good example of what can happen if you don't act fast. Like I said before , I understand to a certain degree why they didn' take him to the hospitol right away , but hopefully , this will prevent people from telling themselves that everything is going to be alright. Lets try to make the best of a tragic situation by learning from the tradegy just like sept11 , people died but we learned that arabs hate us.
