I've just changed to two 22" screens at work and definitely prefer it, I have a dock for my work laptop so use an external keyboard most of the time although I also have a 'dirty' laptop for.....dirty things
At home I only ever use a laptop, I have a desktop in the house that I use for my ISP Email via Outlook but I just remote into it. I can not fekin abide touch pads and since no one wanted to fund a rather expensive habit for ThinkPads ( with their little red nipple ) I use a logitech marble as normal mices give me RSI.

I'd say "Pah! You don't even need cursor keys as long as you've got H, J, K and L" but actually, it's so long since I actually had to use vi, I've probably forgotten most of it.most of my laptops have had a numerical keypad superimposed on part of the keyboard accessible with a function key press. I find lack of numeric keypad annoying for some applications like blender where you really need it.
...felix: beware of potential sideffects of ipad usage, like hearing voices telling you to buy more apple products, and feeling a strong urge to queue for 3 days to get them.
^ Haha. No chance.
I've got a shitload of apps on my iPhone. Does anyone know if it's possible to duplicate them on the iPad? Is that allowed? Or would I need to repurchase any I wanted on it?
