Gotta love the asshole that ingests research chemicals (murple) judging people that use any drugs wrecklessly or not.
First of all, this is pretty bullshit.
"Reckless" is not quite the appropriate word to describe how Murple was using research chemicals.
He used them more as if he was running human trials on himself. And he based his doses on previously existing information. If he had been dosing blindly or trying to push the limits, I'd say "reckless" would be appropriate, but that's not how it happened.
Also, I respect you. And I've always gotten the impression from you that I get the same back.
But like I said on DS yesterday, I think it's unfair you criticize someone else for doing the exact same thing I do but you never call me out on it.
A few years ago, calling my drug use "reckless" would have been an understatement. I was taking whatever drugs I could get, taking absurd quantities and mixing up to five different drugs in a single night.
But anyone who follows my posts knows I'm the first one to criticize others for using that way. The reason, like Murple's reason, is that I learned from my mistakes and the mistakes of the people around me.
Murple's trip reports on research chemicals were from years and years ago. He doesn't even use them anymore.
And I had stopped using drugs recklessly and excessively back in 1999 because I recognized the adverse effects happening to me and that even though I had friends that I couldn't keep up with, it was truly amazing I never overdosed and beyond truly amazing my friends never overdosed.
The reason I'm criticical of other people who use recklessly now is for no reason other than trying to make others aware of the magnitude of what they're doing so they don't die. Whether the person I'm criticizing gets what I'm saying or even if someone else just reading the thread gets it. All I did was needlessly endanger myself because there was absolutely nothing to get from pushing the limits other than ruining my life. And anyone else I knew using drugs the same way ended up ruining their lives, too, even if only temporarily. It's just not worth it.
In my opinion, the only thing you should have been criticizing Murple of in this case was being insensitive.
I think alot of good can come out of this, and I hope people realize what you know doesn't mean shit if you don't live by it.
On the otherhand, it was a joy to read this one simple sentence. Because it's oh-so-true.
And I would like to assure everyone here that likely the majority of the really hardcore users telling others how NOT to use drugs either didn't or don't heed their own advice and the reason they tell you not to do this or that is so you don't make their mistakes or end up like them.
