Besides, I have little love for a board which will ban people for being jewish (which I am thank you very much). Greatest flame war of all time? hahahahah, it's just some stupid racist ranting... you must like that or something :(

No, not at all, and like I said I'm not trying to start a fight. I came here because there are a bunch of drugs that I'm curious about but don't know too much about.

I cant believe that you dont publically show that you feel any remorse after what you did to your family......

Its sad and pathetic to read these posts almost hero worshiping your sad addiction problems.

I read the posts your little sister put on the board and I really felt for you and your family. I was never a fan of yours, but obviously it was a terrible thing to happen to you.

Your sister was really upset by your actions and gave her part of the story, with dignity and objectivity, obviously something she didnt get from you.

We are supposed to read this pathetic thread, with you bragging about the worst and most serious things that could happen to an addict, with us expected to laugh these things off by blaming your attitude on your 'black' or 'warped' sense of humour. Like this is your way of coping.

How does your family cope with these issues...??

How do they cope with the ugly images that you provided them with. The person, your mom or whoever, that found you in the state you were in..

All the pain and anguish that they went through, watching you in the ICU, laying there the victim of your own stupidity, pathetic, weak, tubes and fucking machines hooked up to your body. All because you wanted to indulge yourself in your drug of choice. At their expense.

All this under your families roof. With them, to some degree, unaware of your life as an opiate abuser.

Your sister said that she read some of your ravings in 'Other Drugs', and saw a side of you that she didnt know, but explained a lot..

I would have thought that you would have at least publicly thanked your family for their support, and for saving your life, but no, not the sort of thing that you would do eh mate..?

She also said that you started talking about carrying on where you left off, almost as soon as you could talk. Surely that shows the power that opiates have over a person, physically and psychologically.

It could be argued that some drug harm reduction sites are nothing more than drug encouragement sites and it is my opinion that your comments in 'Other Drugs' fits into that category.

I dont mean the practical information that you give, I mean the majority of you ego boosting rants that at times have even needed to be edited by Admin.

These things, and stuff that you say in this thread are in IMHO detrimental to the people, especially the young, reading this site. Bluelight is here to minimise the harm that is done by drugs to drug users. So they can use as safely as possible, THATS IT.

I feel bad for you man. I feel even more sorry for your family.

IMO, your knowledge of drugs is not enough of a qualification to make you a moderator. Most mods here at least try to live up to the Mission Statement of BL. They make mistakes, they are not perfect, they lose it now and again, but they try to stick to guidelines etc. They will be objective, even apologise sometimes, when it is called for.

You are a law unto yourself, a loose cannon, I reckon, but I guess that you would think of that as a compliment.

I've had friends die from drug related problems and I miss em. Their lives wasted, but I got angry at them as well. They put me through pain. I suffered. I saw their families suffering.

Now they are dead, I have a huge hole in my guts that will never go away.

Look back at some of the threads about you while you were off the board. People arguing about you...talking about whether or not you were SELLING your drug prescriptions, I reported the thread because I thought it was compromising your rights here !!

Its all so sad. I have all the sympathy in the world for addicts, especially if they are trying to turn their lives around, to spare themselves and their family and friends more suffering.

I certainly have very little respect left for you Phreex, your self indulgent ramblings and behaviour can only be detrimental to BL and the people using it. Your knowledge of drugs does not give you carte blanche to act the way you do.

You seem to have no respect for yourself or others.....ESPECIALLY your family.

I got a feeling that they are in for a whole world of pain in the future, because of your risk taking behaviour and lack of respect for them.

Much..much respect to them for the dignity and strength that they showed during your over dose, especially your little sister.

:(

^^Yeah, the only problem with all that is that the admins run this site, so basically they can say whatever they want, and stop anything from being said that they dont want said.

Im not saying the admins are bad, infact they are doing a decnet job, im just saying this board isn't a democracy.

Anyway... proceed with the conversation

/me arms myself with mudslinger...

I too wish that Dave would take this asa learning experience. However, as the old saying goes *yoo can leed a horse to water but yoo cant make him drink*. Sadly though I can wish till im blue in the face, but nothings going to change. See, the way I see it is that Dave was LUCKY to have survived this whole ordeal. I also see and know that luck inevitably runs out sooner or later. I shutter at the thought that next time he may not be so lucky. IMO people should learn from their mistakes and as Daves friend im not so sure I could handle losing him because he chose not to learn from his.

Dave: I'm sorie but it is VERY possible for not just yoo but ANYONE
to die from an overdose. Please KNOW that yoo are NOT immortal
to drugs just because yoo survived this incident. Yoo f'reals lucked
the fuck out this time. Please dont take that for granted. I'll be honest here n say that it scared the FUK outa me as your friend when yoo said that "drugs cannot kill yoo". Fact is that they CAN!
One thing I have learned throughout my twenty eight years is
dont ever doubt. The minute yoo doubt something it will straight turn around on yoo n bite yoo in your @ss. For yoo to doubt that drugs can kill yoo is imo a mistake. Please take no offense to whut I just said. I really do care about yoo n thought I would just lay everything out on the table. *shrugs*

/prepares to get banned for whut was said :(

Welcome back. You are one of the few persons I actually trust on all of BL. I'm happy you've returned to health and are able to help those of us less informed or just plain ignorant.

I'm sorry to skip the welcome back but...
ah, fuck it, welcome back.
But please, consider that when you brag about drug use... you're putting at risk a lot of young people who don't know better than to experiment heavily. Once a junkie, forever a junkie, perhaps, but do you really wish this upon others who aren't yet cursed to feel the pull of opiates for the rest of their lives?

I wouldn't trust anyone on the internet.

Besides genious, didn't this person you trust (with information attaining to drugs, i assume) just overdose? Nothing personal to phreex..

I don't know you, but as a human it's nice to see you make a recovery!

... so basically I can't OD, it's not possible

Never will I tell someone HOW to live, but please be careful with that mentality.

"being high all the time" and thinking nothing (yet) can kill you are 2 different things..

Phreex... first off, I have to say, I'm glad you survived. When people make mistakes, they should have an opportunity to learn from them.
It doesn't, however, look like you've learned much from this. Whatever about other opiates, which are dangerous enough, fentanyl is massively potent, and it's all too obvious what can happen in the event of a wrongly calculated dosage.
I'm the last person to moralise about anyone's personal choices... once the only people affected by those choices are the person themselves. In your case, however, there's more than just yourself to consider... shredda, for one, pointed out how your family felt about your condition. I also read some of your sister's posts and it was obvious to me that she felt strongly about the whole situation.
You should really give some consideration to your position on your continued use of all drugs, not just potent opiates... I say this based on the obvious 'loose cannon' approach to drugs that you have.
I also believe that, despite your often witty and mostly good advice concerning drugs that you should resign your position as a mod. The purpose of this board is Harm Reduction, and to be honest, it's one thing to give advice, but totally another to lead by example. Many people who come here looking for advice are young, impressionable and sometimes even lost/alone and the last thing they need is a hero-figure preaching disregard for self and family.
Phreex... don't become another Ripper. Celebrity status is worth fuck all if you're not there to enjoy it.

Word. Plus, its not like Ripper's 'celebrity' status was a good one. It was more like 'wow, hear about that dumbass ripper, od'd on the internet to impress some k-rad ch4t-r00m d00dz, blah de blah etc'.

I didn't mean to be hurtful. The first part of my post about the gbl was pretty much joking and revealing the "source" that got his ass real busted up isn't revealing anything at all.

If it's the second part of my post...i mean phreex you almost died, I think that's a great time to get clean :o . If you choose not to that's your choice and that's cool but everybody knows what the end of the story will be; drug addictions just get worse and it's putting a great toll on your body. Besides, that 250,000$ is going to have to get paid somehow and can you really say that the experience was a 250,000$ experience that other people should pay for?

hailed and nailed ye forever are, PhreeXy
