PHISH: Official summer tour thread

I am so energetic after reading it. I may have some special plans besides the routine.
But I won't share these ones otherwise I may be banned by admin.Apartments by UCF

repeat tour 2011 is underway!

best part of tour so far was the heartbreaker jam in wolfmans at the gorge. then, they drop into this sick funk groove, and per the norm, trey completely cuts it off and forces his way into maze.

they are predictable and forced right now.

i'm sure the shows have been fun, but jesus christ i wish they would do something that stands out.

it's been a frustrating couch tour.
 
All 3 nights of UIC looked absolutely filthy.

Would love to hear your thoughts, Finder.

or anyone else that was there.....
 
Was at the first night in Tahoe.. had a balcony at Harvey's overlooking the show.. pretty beastly night.
 
nice im excited too. the last few phish shows i went to were kind of mehh (5/31/11, 6/1/11, and 6/10/11)...i think im just gonna do the AC shows. the venue is huge so im hoping to score a ticket for $20 on lot lol

don't know how much luck you'll have with that. AC is the one venue everyone KNOWS will not sell out so extra tickets might be scarce as people know they can always show up day of show and snag one at the box office. That said, should be a blast!
 
thats true, either way im showing up with out a ticket reading to rage the lot haha
 
holding out for an atlanta date. rumor has it that it will be 8/25. not looking like two nights this year, so i'll probably go to charlotte as well. i think charlotte is a lock, but i've been wrong before.
 
yeah i'm surprised there was no SE shows on the first leg. you will definitely get shows your way on the second leg

really?

i'm kind of snob when it comes to phish. outdoors is fine and all, but things are just more intense indoors. phish is a whole different animal inside. the sound, lights, intamicy, everything.....i just prefer my phish inside.
 
yeah ok i get that. i'm a newer fan but i've seen them both inside and outside...i prefer them outside, to each his own

well that's just not the situation you want to be in, standing in a lawn 300 yards away from the band

some people just like it LOUD and to dance, some people just want to party

if you want the party, i guess sitting in the lawn is awesome

yeah don't get me wrong, i've seen phish indoors, had a great time, and been way up front close to the stage too but i don't mind the lawn at all. more room to dance and i feel like the sound is more clear from a distance. never had a bad time on the lawn from a musical or "concert experience" standpoint
