Phenobarbital?

when i did it it was quite funny... i was"caught" for having acid marker pens and marker pens with pigments n stuff... they said they had a witness but they were bluffling (i think).. anyway, here they have to ask you if you want to see a doctor for medical reasons... i said yes... i knew spending a night in a cold cell with a bunch of lunies wouldn't be fun if i wasn't high...

anyway i convinced the doc to give me 20mg of diazepam and 100mg of phenobarbital and some othe stuff i don't remember...

... when i got back to the police station the phenobarbital kicked in and i went staight o sleep on a cold floor in a room lit up like a x-mas tree...

the cops woke me up 3 hours later to take my statement and i just felt really relaxed, chilled, and not really bothered... the cop even asked me why i was so serene and mellow, when i should be stressed, i just shruged and said "it wasn't me, i have nothing to be woorried about"... they let me go after about 12 hours.. they blatantly didn't have a witness... maybe an anonymous phone call coz they said before they caught me "its him with thee ed bag"... so they were definately onto me... but had no substantial evidence


ANYWAY... phenobabital is good for sleeping, when i woke up as i said i felt chilled... like a benzo high, maybe 100mg is a bit high for a first time dose so wait for more responses from people who are better "connaisseus" of the substance than I...

Yes, there are 15mg pills. There are a few different doses that phenobarbital comes in.

I used to take about 180mg at a time. It's a really underrated drug I think. For me it feels just like alcohol but much cleaner and longer lasting. If I were you I'd start around 75mg and go up from there.

Be careful though, because barbs can kill you really easily. There is a reason they aren't used often anymore... because they can be real dangerous. They're not safe like benzos.

NEVER EVER combine them with alcohol, because they synergize with each other. A medium dose of barbs and a few shots makes it like you drank a handle or two of vodka. That's how a lot of famous people died in the 60's and 70's actually...
 
Yes phenobarb is quite chill and alcohol like, without the dirtiness. But beware, it's a powerful medication even if it's the last in the class of barbs. Don't abuse it, it has a super long half-life and will accumulate if you take too much.
Take 50/100mg and that's it. Btw phatass, you can find the pills in a lot of strengths in France (10, 25, 50 and 100mg) ;)
 
Phenobarbital, is not that euphoric... they use it at the local detox place for people in opiate withdrawal. There are much more euphoric and pleasurable barbituates, secobarbital for example is pretty nice but very hard to get ahold of these days
 
^ Yeah, of course it's the less euphoric barb, but it's also the only one available nowadays. Anyway it's half decent.
 
^ its not the only one available...just about 2 months ago there was a thread in OD about somebody being Rx'd Seconal
 
Be really really careful, this is a comparitavely weak sedative which causes alot more respiratory depression then benzodiazepines.
That being said, I'm glad for Phenobarbital, it prevented me from having seizures coming off Temazepam when Diazepam wouldn't quite bring me out of the withdrawal fully..

Yeah, if it has the same availability than Sodium Oxybate... it's like it's illegal.
 
I like phenobarb because like all long lasting barbs, it was a staple in the world of anxiety.
Still till this day, they put all benzos to complete shame.
 
^ Agreed. I should have never touched phenobarb, but it was fun the first times, I was totally relaxed like with a decent opiate. Benzos are lame when compared to this barb, even this one supposed "lame" barb.
 
If it's the pure form and you don't have tolerance, I would advise to take 50mg and wait a few hours. Then redose if you need to.
Due to it's very long half-life, it's not important to dose high the first time, you won't waste it if you redose like 4 or 5 hours afterwards.
 
Yeah, 12 hours is a long time in the world of barbs.

So imagine taking too much on the first time... You can't... You will be in the danger zone for way too long.
