Just came across this quote from dancesafe.org so I thought I'd post it here

This is Emanuel from DanceSafe. We put a warning out last week about the green tabs going around containing high doses of DXM, the chemical in Robitussin cough syrup. We would like to raise the level of our warning in response to the high number of Green tab casualties at Quest.
Before we left at 3:00am, eight people had already been sent away in ambulances after consuming one or more of these pills.
Once again, the current green tabs do not contain any ecstasy. Rather, they contain dextromethorphan (DXM). Taking one of these pills is the equivalent of downing an entire bottle of Robitussin cough syrup. The effects of DXM vary, but generally, it doesn't make you feel good. It makes most people dizzy and very "out of it," and some people experience hallucinations. In some people, it makes their skin itch. Virtually nobody feels like dancing on DXM.
And some people have such a bad reaction that they need to be hospitalised! This drug is nothing like ecstasy. It was put in these pills only because it is cheaper and the manufacturers can make more profits.
WARNING!
This drug is VERY DANGEROUS to take along with real ecstasy! DXM and MDMA (real ecstasy) are "contraindicated." This means that if they are taken together, it can create a life-threatening situation. This is because both drugs are metabolised through the same liver enzyme (CYP-2D6) and inhibit the breakdown of each other. YOU CAN EASILY OVERDOSE IF YOU MIX DXM AND ECSTASY! What is particularly frightening about this situation, aside from the fact that SO MANY of these pills were going around, is that a lot of people, after taking a green triangle and realising it was fake, wanted to take some real ecstasy in the hopes that it would make them feel better. We counselled many people last night to resist this temptation and NOT take any other ecstasy tablets during the night. We understand how let down someone might feel wanting to experience the mild, pleasant empathy of ecstasy -- conducive to dancing -- and then suddenly finding themselves feeling wasted, completely out of it, and totally unable to dance.
The temptation to find a real ecstasy tablet at this point may be very great for some people. While we were able to convince some people to resist this urge, some people gave in and a few ended up hospitalised. Please, whoever is selling the green tabs, STOP selling them. Take a loss for the sake of somebody else's life. If you have a green tab, DO NOT TAKE IT.
DXM is not very pleasant, and is dangerous if mixed with Ecstasy. If everybody helps spread the word about these pills, we can get them out of the community, and perhaps save somebody's life
Perth is being swamped with DXM and PMA in red, beige, green and white mitsubishi

Anyone heard anything about these dangerous pills going around? I really hope its not as bad as they are making it out to be. Becuase I'd hate to think of all those people overdosing. Its such a terrible thought.
Also, I was wondering about those Red HQ's that have popped up in Perth. How can 1 pill have such different effects? It seems to have put half the people who took it in hospital and the other half thought it was amazing. Anyone got any thoughts on this ?
