Hi youngbird,
I'm glad to see you checked back. I have limited knowledge on kratom, so I'll leave that to someone better educated and experienced to explain.
Would you be willing to discuss why you use drugs? It could be boredom, curiosity, trying to cope with troubling feelings and/or situations, etc etc. I ask because I might have some alternative ideas that could help. I just need to know the reasons, first, to make appropriate suggestions.
I understand that it might sound very far-fetched to you, what everyone is saying about how this could so quickly and easily spiral out of control. Also, these things get glamorized in the media at times. There's another, very dark side. The image of the tortured soul using, losing everything, and rising like a phoenix from ashes with new awareness, inspired and ready to take life on, is not the usual course in reality. Far more often, you'll find that others begin to leave, give up on you, judge you, etc.
I'm not exactly conservative in my views on drugs, and for example I'm all for legalizing marijuana. Just so you know I'm not some dope with no knowledge or experience trying to use ridiculous scare tactics on you

I No; education and awareness in my opinion is a better route than using scare tactics, lies and exaggerations.
I'm happy to share my experiences with you if you're interested. Let me know. I have experience with methamphetamine (which never ends well lol), and weed, pills, and harder opiates. I'm happy to talk about it if you want
And if you'd like more information about withdrawal from opiates, let me know, too. It's part of using opiates regularly.
Please take care. If you're still taking the pills, do some research about the APAP in them and how much is safe to take in general. Your liver will thank you for these precautions

The body and brain are still developing at your age, and the people expressing concern about that are wise.
I'm glad you're here
Peace.
