I've done the gel cap method and the syringe method. I prefer the gel cap if I'm out at a club or in public or something, because sometimes I worry about it "spilling out" or something...even though it isn't really likely if you use a small enough amount... I've put up to 100mL up there without it spilling out before.

I prefer using around 2-3mL's of water with a syringe. The syringe method also takes less time to hit you than the gel cap method. The less water you use, the stronger and faster it'll hit.

Use around 1/2 of what you would snort, be careful.

^It's a hell of a lot better than snorting stuff, well for me it is. It actually comes on quicker than snorting as well; it's difficult to snort liquids, and having the drug in solution massively speeds up how quickly it's absorbed. It's actually not much behind IM in speed of onset.

To get the best out of the rectal method, the drug should be in solution and administered using a syringe. Putting anything up in a solid form means that it has to dissolve first, which makes it seem much slower.

If you make up a solution of the drug in water, try and dissolve it in the smallest volume of water possible, as the speed of diffusion across the wall of the colon happens faster when there is a bigger difference in concentration across the colon wall.

Anyway, GL, I think you should IV it at least once because I think you would love it.

This is a personal choice type of thing. I'm gay and don't find anything comfortable about sticking something in my ass--I find this route of administration extremely uncomfortable. Does that make someone close minded? No, not really. Some people don't like hamburger, some do.

Now if someone dosen't like this route because they think it will make them "gay" and they've never tried it before, then they are small minded dickheads.

Also, i've tried plugging poppy seed tea and I felt nothing at all. Has anyone else had this experience?

I think plugging, as other people said, is just another, and very efficient method of drug administration, and I am NOT gay, far from it, I am actually engaged to a very beautiful young woman, (I am male), and wouldn't ever dream of being queer LOL.

I have plugged, I use the method usually to take things that taste foul (wouldn't it be a bummer to have tastebuds in your rectum) and occasionally for a substitute IV, I find it is the BEST way to ingest harmala alkaloids if using Peganum Harmala seed, I once used it for this, and squirted 1 liter of acidified, filtered harmala brew, no nausea caused at all, no anal leakage whatsoever.

I think the tales of arse-leakage are exaggerated grossly, I have personally held up to a liter and a half of harmala brew w/o the dam breaking.

I certainly wouldn't plug anyone else, save only for my fiancee if she requested it, but on myself, it is almost the perfect administration method for many drugs.

^Everyone in here should have a little more empathy. If your a needle user especially, you have no right to speak ill of plugging. Look at needles from an objective point of view--you're sticking a metal spike into your veins to get drugs into your system as soon as possible. That is gross, uncomfortable, and has lots of sexual symbolism; more than plugging I would say.

It's just another route of administration. Nothing wrong with it, if you don't do it you don't do it, that is all.

okay, i actually did this once. but i was on such a drug benge that particular weekend that i dont know if plugging my drugs intensified them or not cos i think i prolly had built up a pretty good tolerance.
i'm curious about plugging cocaine tho. does it just come on like a huge rush and last for 6 seconds and then it's over? what's the duration like?
