Yes I do. Well I'm classically trained, so when I sit down and play by myself it usually ends up sounding quite classically influenced, in the absence of anyone else's input, or drums. Though not always. In my band, we're a jam band of sorts, but not so much like the Dead or Phish, though we cover them sometimes, but more like a mixture of blues/neo soul/heavy rock/occasional bluegrass-ish.

Cool. I tried taking lessons at around 7 then again at 13, but just couldn't concentrate.

I do play though, kind of developed my own way of playing based on finger drumming, like you would on a drum machine (something I am actually okay at). Just adapting that rhythm to chords rather than different pieces in a drum kit.

I'm sure it's nothing new, and quite basic, but it's really fun.
 
Okay so, cocaine, I went all out money wise this time, I think I got some of the best that's possible for me. Still a disappointing stimulant imo, it also just lacks punch. And I really tried to get some punch, and I suffered for it hah.
Pretty shit plan all around, very telling! ;)

I think if I'd play some games every day like 2200-2300 (online lichess ofc) would be possible eventually, but I could never commit in the past and now it seems even more out of reach.

Scotch is still my weapon, and as black I get in all sorts of cramped trouble with bizarre sicilians :cool: irrational kings Indians and other terrible things against 1. d4 . In blitz anything goes ;)
But let's play indeed! I promised the same to arall, which I intend to keep but I'm just such an anxious fucking mess these days, time flies by at night and I end up doing nothing.

That you reached 2100 by such philosophy is insulting! I mean I'm no ambassador for chess anymore I have my own mental issues.. I say when I want to chicken out on coordinating global efforts at fucking global goddamn survival, which apparently I cover NASA's blindspot's of, cuz mister chief scientist of climate moonshots ain't cogently responding anymore... But yeah, fuck me sideways.. I'm trying to get my credibility up, I've spent a week refreshing my maths from twenty years ago, which was doable cuz I did retain... but everything on top was just too much. But yeah at least I must challenge.

Our blunderfest was when I just went in blind after ten years break. Nowadays I can at least see stuff when looking at a position! At the time of our encounter I had to unpack the very packed away skills at every move, at every increment. I will still have to, but at least the basic skills are unpacked now.
