That's great on both counts man! Rock on!

And for the benzos obviously I meant great that you've got some time under your belt... are you trying to quit now or just don't have any?

I was really craving opiates earlier (3 hours ago) and ended up taking 10mg of 4-HO-MET rectally right before going to meet a friend on a mountainside... it started coming on almost literally as soon as I was done taking it, it was really bizarre. The come-up was really intense, it was almost like it was trying to turn off analytical thought. After a little while it really smoothed out and became something interesting, stronger than any other trip I have had with it, which is weird because it was my lowest dose. I'm having a hard time putting it into words still, but I think I might start writing a trip report about it... I feel like for the first time I saw the full nature of this substance.

And it worked I suppose, I am not craving opiates now or feeling withdrawal.

Xorkoth- I'm tapering from benzos, somas, gabapentin, barbs and I'm somewhat of an alcoholic. Lets just say that if I go more than 3-4 days without using a GABAergic I have siezures and could die. Roger has actually helped me decrease my dose by 50% in the last few months.
I'm hoping that my somas will last me tomorrow until I can refill so I don't waste them.

Good job on the job and the benzos Thanatos...I've been off and on them for years, and after a couple of years off foolishly went Apeshit on etizolam....spent 2012 on 60 mg a day as a maintenance dose, 100 mg for a buzz...tolerance builds ridiculously high to those things, and they don't affect me nearly as deleteriously as "true" benzos, ie in terms of cognitive function, slurring, blackouts, amnesia etc. Tapered down to 6mg, and 11 months ago switched to 60 mg diazepam. In retrospect this was too much, but I was going off of the 1 mg etiz= 10 mg diazepam figure (more like 1:6 IMO). I have spent the last 11 months doing an Ashton style taper, and am now at 10 mg diazepam daily. Mostly painless until now, but now it is getting gritty.

Benzos are shit drugs, and benzo WD and tapers are the worst. Good luck man <3 No seizures please! Carisoprodol actually lowers the seizure threshold quixotically, so be careful. Seizures or not, the glutamate exitotoxicity caused by too fast of tapering or CT can cause some serious damage...my heart goes out to you!

It's my fault.. I don't blame anyone other than myself. I started drinking at 10 and benzos at 12 so I'm more than a decade in.

Holy shit man, 10? That's intense (to me anyway). I started drinking and smoking on my 17th birthday. So you've been consistently taking benzos ever since then until now? Good luck <3

Yeah a decade of benzo/barb use so far. My mother took lorazepam while she was pregnant with my brother and I, so we are naturally drawn to sedatives. Don't forget about the opiods in the mix...

I want to visit Australia one day. You Aussies know hows the visa system nowadays, how long can I stay there if I dont work? Or do I need to get a job to stay there more than a month or two? I could ask my friend tho as he's been living there for a year or something. He's somewhere in Victoria, near Melbourne. Quite an adventure for just a little over 20 year old guy from little city from Finland to just leave everything and start a new life in the other side of the world. He found a girlfriend there too and they're coming to visit Finland this summer, im excited to see one of my best friends.

I visited Aus for a little over a month back in 2006. I got to visit a nice number of different areas. Oh god did the Sydney China Town have some amazing places to eat; I was like a kid in a toy store there.
It was so amazing seeing the stars in the middle of the outback with no light pollution. It's a completely different experience than seeing them in a residential area.
Here are some of the countless pics from my trip.

too good. I hope everyone is feeling as triumphant as this song sounds.

I recently read this kind of hilariously zealous article and it's claiming hemp has powerful antispasmodic properties. I wonder if it's the correct mechanism of action and it would prevent seizures induced by GABAergic withdrawal. If that is the case I will personally send you weed thanatos, just for harm reduction purposes =D good luck with your job by the way, I worked as a busboy at Ruby's Diner for over a year so I know what it's like to be a chain restaurant employee.

THEY TOOK OUR JERBS! is a phrase I am admittedly too familiar with but for what it's worth the people who took my job were much better at it anyways and were probably more reliable than me anyways :\ not to mention they weren't overly mean to me for being given everything I have. The only reason I had the job in the first place is because I look kind of like I belong in a 1940s diner with the whole uniform on probably.

my AMT gets in any day now. my good friend just randomly surprised me with a little mxe without me asking, I thanked him gleefully because it legitimately was a really fuckin thoughtful gift ;)

edit: if even half the stuff in that article is true I personally think weed is one of the main reasons I haven't had a heart attack from snorting so many 2cs and coke and any the other shit i've done that's bad for my heart. 25i felt really bad on my heart. I think my heart has at least been through a lot more stress than most average people my age.

Heya guys :)

Bach - Aria Variata (Var X) - love it, practising it <3
Secede - Outran - really virtuous electronic track, also reminds me of shpongle
Clark - Superscope - pretty sick techno track with freaky sound design and oscillator generated patterns

Went to a pretty fucked up place for a number of days IMing a lot of MXE - monster tolerance to the point where 70 mg mostly makes me blank out and give me a rush of crackling static like an unusual sort of paraesthesia, then I ran out of needles and took me a while to detox from it. Now on bit of oxy. But I should really pick up again with that great vibe I was on for a nice while recently!

Also, built a new designer bookcase / nightstand type thingy, gave it foundation paintjob so now I only need to give it a lacqer finish. Will also probably do a microbrew soon, sharing materials with a friend who will do the same.
Will be my bd in 2 weeks, I am gonna visit my parents and spend some time there starting up petri dishes for edible mushroom projects. Lion's Mane probably. Really freaky stuff, made up of hard coral-like teeth but you can also cultivate it with very short teeth texture and it will look more like cauliflower blobs. And it tastes like shellfish!! Lobster like. 8o

Sounds 'bout right for injected MXE. The first thirty minutes or so were lovely, yes? Before the parts that aren't remembered. I'm being bad myself, drinking every day for all week. Got start being responsible again next week.

I cannot recall if you have posted pictures of your woodcraft before, but I wouldn't mind seein' some examples.

"interview" this morning wasn't really an interview.... they had like 10 of us there to take an intelligence test and an honesty test.

intelligence test was timed... 12 minutes, and they said you most likely wouldn't do all 50 questions in the time limit.... i did all but three of them, and i'm pretty sure i got them all right =p

dunno how i did at the honesty test. i'm much better at logic.

everywhere around here does intelligence/honesty tests

its just a crappy $10 an hour production laborer job at a plastics factory

there's way more job seekers than job openings in my area, so even the shitty places to work can afford to be very selective about who they hire
