so maybe its jus that im really drunk & high, and i took a bunch of vyvanse earlier. but my thumbs don't feel as though they're my own.

rather odd imho

it's as if they move independent of me

how is the overall music scene in asheville?

I love the music scene in Ashville but most of all the people are cool as hell. My ex-boss had a house in Black Mountain and I used to go fairly often. It is very Appalachian but it has a hippy vibe that reminded my of my old SF peeps. I would love to go again. Also the natural scenery is aces. Lots of outdoor stuff to do and plenty of beautiful vistas to admire.

i've probably heard this song a thousand times before, but i'm really feeling it tonight.

such immense sorrow in jerry's voice, and the solo he takes in the middle is the most bittersweet piece of music i've ever heard. it's like his guitar is singing about another world that almost was but never will be.

Just recovered my baggie of zopiclone powder. Too bad it tastes like robocop's asshole for the entire duration of effects. :\

lol yeah, zopiclone sure has a taste to it. Nice effect though, was good stuff.

I'm thinking I'll just stick with etizolam if I do get anything like that. I'm going to have to wait a while though; just can't afford it. It's one of those luxuries I have to earn. I might also get some pregabalin or carisoprodol (Soma). I'm leaning towards the latter as I've felt pregabalin before and Soma is pretty rare with some nice effects from what I read.

I sure do have the sensation that I have to poo.

Haha, death, taxes, and the come-up shit. :D

I get it everytime on every psychedelic; very dependable. The trip usually gets going in the bathroom for me.

Huge snowfall expected tomorrow so I have the day off from my obligations. I have some poppy seed tea in the gullet along with some diphenhydramine, buzzing nicely. I'm pretty darn sure I won't be buying alcohol anytime soon. Poppy seeds are much cheaper with nicer effects.

The one effect that sucks is the odd baseball size turd. OUCH!

not trying to spam the pd sosh or anything, but this song might be enjoyable to you guys too :)

this is just like.......... life, or something

Would prefer to be drunker myself, haven't been proper drunk since summer 2013, as there is the no alcohol in apartment rule since we moved. That rule would have been banished by now if not for my steadfast support of it (and I break it at least once a week), but I think it's been an overall benefit for me, puts some kinda limits on my behavior, as insurance. Might haveta go to abandoned building to get pass out drunk sometime soon, I think I deserve it.

Have you considered finding an atypical antipsychotic to abort stimulant high and sleep? Would solve abusability concerns (please look at all the PD socialites who have dealt with benzo addiction), and should be fairly easy to get via international pharmacies (esp. compared to scheduled medication). We're in the same boat, man, gotta look out for each other.

Pretty much, yeah.

So cinema lovers, now that the Academy Awards have passed (I have never been so pleased with the results), what were your favorite films of 2013? I did not say what were the best films of 2013, I just wanna know your favorite.
Pour moi:
1. Frozen - Walt Disney Animation Studios (won 2/2 oscars it was nominated for, Disney's first Best Animated Feature win, and "Let it go" won Best Original Song)
2. The Great Gatsby - Directed by Baz Lurman (of Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge fame) starring Leo. This was everything I wanted from a Gatsby adaptation, and I"m a huge F. Scott Fitzgerald fan (won 2/2 oscars it was nominated for, preduction design and costume design. It deserved both)
3. The World's End - Directed by Edgar Wright. If you need to hear more than "Directed by Edgar Wright (or even "Edgar Wright was involved" as in Attack the Block), then fuck you, you tasteless bastard. He is the Golden Boy of cinema as far as [British] directors go, and has not done wrong yet.

I specifically said not the best movies, but your favorite movies. But speaking of 2013 comedies that I haven't seen, I really wanna see Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus (aka Michael Sera's character tries to get mescaline, filmed while Michael Sera is on mescaline). I did hear a few good things about This is the End, but not enough to care one way or the other.

Do you have any idea how boring best films lists are? Everybody pretty much picks the same thing, because they have to, such is the way of objectivity. And if there are significant differences, clearly someone is wrong.

I would perma-ban you for trying to change your name twice (only excusable when returning to original name).

hmm, haven't thought of that. You make a good point though. I must admit I am leaning towards benzos with more than stimulant comedowns in mind. A lot of it is recreation in conjunction with opiates. I know, playing with fire.

The deal there is that as long as I keep stimulant use sporadic it won't be a problem. Any time I was using benzos too often it was because I was wired on stims every day and needed to wind down in the evening. As a sort of pilot test; if I can come home and not slug poppy seed tea I should be okay.

I also find with CBT for anxiety my cravings for alcohol/downers are really losing grip. I'm seeing things more clearly all the time and the forces behind my escapist behaviours are getting nipped.

I appreciate the concern, but as a drug hobbyist I gotta say I enjoy a relaxing evening with opiates/benzos more than alcohol. Having something for sketchyness is a major motivator for getting them, but there is another aspect.

My parents even know about the poppy seed tea thing and are okay with it; it's a culinary beverage preparation, not manufacture of a controlled substance. ;)

Not Danny Boyle?

I'm not big on new movies; I tend to hunt for obscure classics with good reviews. The only 2013 movie I saw was Captain Phillips and I was incredibly dissapointed, not Tom Hanks' fault, but sub-par for one of his movies.

Brodawgchampion IMSATHO. Can you brahs figure it out?!?

I haven't gone to a movie in probably eight years. I really want to go to a good one on some MXE. Wait until the movie is nearly out of theaters so not many people are there and just blast the MXE. Probably bring a noid pipe and a torch lighter too...

Mixing downers? Come on man, I admit I've done worse (phenazepam + hydrocodone + GBL + o-desmethyltramadol; and alcohol + IV H + alcohol + IV H + alcohol), but your'e asking for trouble. Just, try to ask for trouble with only one drug at a time, that's all I'm gettin' at.

I feel the same way at first, but when development stagnates, and I'm just grindin' my gears waitin' for further work to be done to me, I pretty much revert to avoiding sobriety as much as possible.

What's his face who played the pirate, got best supporting actor nom, he was pretty awesome. And honestly, Captain Phillips was way better than Cloud Atlas IMO (and even then, I'm surprised you differentiate between Tom Hanks movies. I consider Tom Hanks to be a genre).

Nope, he's good, but Edgar Wright is better. See: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, The World's End. (He produced Attack the Block I think, another awesome movie, cowrote Tin-Tin with Spielburg, etc.)

And speaking of Oscars, I need to let you know that I am still furious about 2007. HOW DID RATATOUILLLE BEAT PERSEPOLIS!? (best animated feature is really the only category I care about)

2013 was a good "textbook" year for cinema but not a good actual year, if you catch my drift

That'll be the case for a while (broke). I'll see how things play out. Let's put it this way; if I feel I need benzos I'll back off.

Okay cool, I've only seen one of those movies; Shaun of the Dead, which was great. I'll explore.

Drift caught. ;)

It was a ridiculous year for animation. You had a bunch of competent-mediocre films (The Croods, Turbo, Monsters University, Desipicable Me 2) and one amazing one (Frozen). Let's not talk about the bad ones. Or Les Armateurs malfeasence in trying to get their 2011 film, Ernest and Celestine, qualified for this year's award, obviously because they would only have one movie to compete with (note: Les Armateurs is the studio behind The Triplets of Belleville and The Secret of Kells, they're really awesome, except this time), or The Wind Rises, got nominated 'cause it's Miyazaki's last but from what I've heard is nothin' special in the Ghibli cananon, so while deserving a nod it didn't belong in the winner's circle with Spirited Away.

2012 was a great year though, really neck-and-neck. Personally I woulda given it to Paranorman*, or maybe Wreck-It Ralph, over Brave, but whatevs.Long story short, watch Persepolis and The Secret of Kells, my fellow ignorant Americans.

*Made by Studio Laika, also responsible for Coraline, will come out with new movie, The Box Trolls, this year. Basically the great hope of animation since the Fall of Pixar.

Alright, just watch out, it's very easy to start doing bezos just because they're there IME, even when they don't provide any real benefit. As for being broke, hahaha, since when has that mattered to an addict? Not that you are one, but a good number of PD Socialites are in the perpetual danger zone, it seems.

I felt old/nostalgic from ages 18-20, since then I just feel very young (I would have difficulty accepting an accusation of being an adult, unless people try to tell me what to do...then again the one short-fuse of my temper has always been being told what to do).

Buy something cheap, sell it for more, this is how my father stays alfoat. May require connections (i.e. personal relationships with human beings not in the internet, so you can know a guy who knows a guy) to be feasible.

Chh what does it even mean to be an adult anyways....? To have or hold a job? To have money? To have a certain level of emotional intelligence? To be on your own successfully? Adult is one of those ambiguous terms people throw around. I think those sort of terms end up causing most people turmoil because of the confusion the term can cause. I straight up say fuck those sort of terms, its rarely even used for good, mainly just a way to put people down or confuse them.

I really want to get a tat of the artist of my avatars. I want to find someone good though as these sort of tats require a lot of color and intricate things. I still need to get a tat somewhere semi hidden like my thigh, that reads, "Fuck you and the horse you rode in on!". Will remind me to just be like "Fuck it....." when someone say....gets on the "Why don't you act like an adult?!?" and that sort of ass hatery.
