Nah. I've worked in the public service (government job) previously for about a year and a half, as well as working for companies contracted to a couple of different government departments. Currently working private sector. Comparing my current role, direct managers, and overall employer....fuck going back to the public service haha. So much bullshit there it's not funny, whereas here they just overpay me to sit on my ass trawling Bluelight (among other things) haha

I saved some money the last few weeks so I could finally experiment with 1P-LSD. I'm really excited to get my hands on the substance, but I seem to have planned events every weekend for the next month. lol

With 25i-NBOH and it's relatively short duration, any evening was fine so long as it was free, which enabled me to enjoy it pretty much anytime after work (and I did!).

Once I enjoy a full-on 200ug experience with the 1P-LSD, I plan on microdosing, every other day, 20ug (+/- 10ug to account for uneven blotter) for 30 days.

It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a proper psychedelic, and the time is right.

The Snarky Puppy show yesterday was so amazing... there were 3 opening bands too and they were also all great. My favorite set of the day was actually a local funk band called The Fritz... incredibly talented dudes, it blew my mind pretty hard. I've seen the lead guy play at a weekly funk jam for years, but this was my first time seeing him with his band and his own material. The below is a set they did at some festival last fall... the show we saw yesterday was more polished than this, and they came out already ON... in this one they work into it just a bit. But I think these guys are one of the greatest funk bands I've ever seen. If you go see Snarky Puppy and it's not the thing that impressed you the most (though they were incredibly impressive), you know it's something good.

 
Good question lol, I've noticed that too. It's like PD and MED are dead, and the steroids section has taken off in their place haha
 
I promenaded at dusk, it was quite warm, with a cool breeze, then I sat on a bench smoking my pipe (got a new one a couple days ago, my cigarette habit is way too expensive and it worsens my anxiety, I'm gonna try to wean myself off'em), listening to the crickets chirp; I was uncharacteristically relaxed. Which leads me to the question, to what degree does the weather affect your mood, my fellow PD socialites?

I work for minimum wage, I can't imagine having so much money. My health would probably suffer from a lack of involuntary sober days, and my diet wouldn't be so vegetarian (I'm not a vegetarian, but meat is expensive).

its probably part to do with the idiocy of my drug counseling.
im not drinking the koolaid anymore man.

but all the other shit just makes me disgruntled.
it is a ratjer nice night out.

While yes, I'm somewhat well off with regards to income:cost of living ratio, the cost of living in Australia is significantly higher too. Not as inflated as my income, but definitely a bit higher than USA for example.
 
Have you ever been into McDonalds and the employees clearly hate the job the manager assigned them? The person is partially through some terrible job, cleaning the ice cream machines for example. You see in the employees eyes "this isn't why I work here" and "how can I do the worst job possible without being fired". I could pay a few more dollars if they had better products and respected the employees more.

The company could use the posotive news too.

Poor McDonalds employees...

Oooh, I didn't get it either, I'm still not used to the new subforum names. To me it's still Ecstasy Discussion. Prolly 'cause I rarely venture outside of PD these days, or more accurately outside of this thread.

I'm glad I work for a small business, it's much better than being a cog in a soulless corporate machine, I think all of the employees take some pride in the restaurant. I kinda wish I could work for the government (I'd prefer state or municipal over federal, in theory), it'd make me feel like my existence had positive social value.

cause i always am cool with working unscheduled days and shit. Dun pulled an 11 hour shift, and i was willing to stay an hour past that, cause i took like a hunned and fourty befo work that day or something.

thsts what i do on lunchbreak mane. Post up on the bench with the headphones and the jungle going and smoke for my entire 30 mins.
I can hit 5 cigarettes per break easily.

I have a hard time feeling good about life in winter, because the cold is just too harsh for me. I have always felt better in warm weather, but I must say Fall is my favorite season. In those brief weeks of Fall and Spring when the weather is the nicest, I often find I feel the best.
