I've never watched it. I struggle to get into animated shows, I only very recently stopped hating South Park after watching Scott Tenorman Must Die. Fucking funny shit :D

Oh man, I could point you to so many amazing South Park episodes. South Park peaked around season 5 or 6 and it had a number of great years after that, these days it's quite different and has been for a while. Nothing reveals the inherent silliness of every side of an issue like South Park. In my opinion the Scott Tenorman episode, which totally classic and amazing, is a little pre-peak for the show.

So I've had some time to kill this afternoon, and as suggested, gave Rick and Morty a shot. 3 episodes in, and I'm entertained, and even wowed. Never knew this show existed! (I don't subscribe to cable, and only use the internet to download stuff.) Thanks for the tip. Gonna download both seasons now. Hope everyone is doing well -- I've been busy with work -- my maintenance tech job, and my two side jobs, plus spending a lot of time with fam. Haven't been experimenting much with substances lately, and even quit smoking cigs again this weekend due to a nasty virus I picked up last week. Just now getting over that bitch. Ugh. Would love a chill weekend w/ plenty of herb and lysergics, but that'll probably have to wait until December. Peace y'all!~ JAG

I've lost count of how many people I've turned on to Rick & Morty, haha. Shortly after discovering the show myself I watched through the entire first season with my mom, then a couple months later when I spent a semester on medical leave chilling with a couple good friends in Cali I introduced them to it and watched all of both seasons again. I can quote along with most episodes start to finish at this point. Dan Harmon is a fuckin' genius :)

Haha sweet jag, have fun with it!

yea me too soli, same here for most.. if i had to judge i think dan harmon organizes the greatest backdrops but justin roiland is the one putting the cherries on top.

Yeah I just gave my co-worker, the only [american] guy running the wood lab I assist, a memory stick with the episodes... he's kinda old but really loves Family Guy and South Park, and also seems like he should be able to appreciate Rick & Morty... I'm very curious whether he likes it, after him I am passing the memory stick to a British friend of his, whom we always lunch with and play cribbage. I have only played along twice since it is their tradition and great to play with 2 players... my colleage was amazed I knew cribbage since hardly anyone outside of the US/UK does. :)

Hey JAG! Hope you're doing well.

I have been reducing my frequency of phenibut usage, I had gradually gone from every 3 days to every other day. I took my usual dose today and it's verging on too much, I have some of that limb soreness and sensitivity. Still feeling good though, I'm gonna go jam with my friend's band later. Looking forward to it, now if only work would get out. I'm once again waiting on the slowest coworker, the woman who test the surveys. She never gets started until like afternoon and then always works really late, and it sucks because I start on time and try to get out on time. I have no idea why she is still able to operate this way after many years on the job. it's so annoying. I'm just gonna be sitting around killing time waiting for her when I have other things to be doing.

I havent had phenibut in a while, always loved it and never got wds even when consuming a tub pretty quickly and using it frequently.. I do dislike the limb soreness though.

Yeah the physical dependence develops really slowly for me, and it only ever gets to where I feel anxious without it. Some people seem to develop severe withdrawals pretty quickly, more along the lines of GHB withdrawals, but it's never happened to me.

I'm pretty good at dosing high enough to get the hypomanic euphoric confident state, but low enough to avoid the soreness and other side effects. I guess my tolerance has dropped though.

I get the soreness etc without the good effects so apparently there isn't a good dosage for me.

When I first get a new tub I start with 1.5-1.8 grams. By the end of it I'm taking anywhere from 3-4 grams in a day.
And then I try to ween off of it for the last few grams and at worst feel some anxiety and restlessness on the first day without. Then by day 2 or 3 by the latest I'm back to pre-tub state.
I do skip days, as in, I do my best to not take it daily. I usually succeed but I go against people's advice on BL as far as how often it should be taken.
I've gone through multiple tubs since 2008, and never experienced WDs. It's just the soreness I have beef with, and the racing heart/murmurs. Other than that, I really love the confidence and creativity or rather looseness/ social lubricant it provides. It's sort of like being semi buzzed from alcohol without it being too obvious to the people around you, but totally obvious to me, and enjoyable for that. I also love the duration of effects. It's hard to find a substance that gives you what you're looking for while lasting a good long while.
I dont understand why Phenibut is lumped in with nootropics, I've never had such luck with nootropics and have loads of tubs of various nootropics.. Maybe I should dabble in them again since I don't drug too hard these days and I've been eating extremely healthy. Perhaps they'll finally give the boost I've always sought after with them.

Yeah phenibut is a real thing, it's one of my favorite drugs. I'm kinda glad it is lumped in with them because it keeps it under the radar somewhat. Phenibut is pretty amazing honestly, quite a unique drug, incredibly useful and consistent. In the early days people talked about it losing effectiveness quickly, I have never found that to be the case, I've been using it for 10 years off and on, and it always does the same thing. And yeah it lasts all day long.

Edema Ruh... that's the name of the traveling people culture in Patrick Rothfuss's Kingkiller Chronicle series (which is outstandingly good by the way).

EDIT: Just googled it and it seems like they named the song after that culture from the books. The Edema Ruh were an extremely musically gifted traveling culture. Gypsies basically.

good morning PD

that kratom I got turned out to be seriously potent. I spent a good deal of the night nodding around while listening to music, after maybe only one heaped teaspoon in total (started with half a teaspoon and then redosed a bit more over the night). when I wanted to go to sleep I smoked a tiny amount of weed, but I still took an hour to actually fall asleep then. slept well though after that. :)

Gotta admire his lustrous beard. But yeah, tis named aftered the travelling redheads. Great fucking books, I have been looking forward to book 3 for ages now. I like how it already has 5 star reviews. :D

That song is cheesy as fuck but the main riff is so catchy, and I love the vocalist.

Yeah those books are truly beautiful and wonderful, glad someone else in here has read them. My girlfriend told me about them, I only read them within the past few months. I think it took 2 weeks to finish both, I could have done it in 3 or 4 days if I wasn't so busy, and I would have too, basically all my free time was spent reading.

I loved them. Truly great stories. Easily some of the best fantasy of recent times IMO.

You gotta check out Malazan Book of the fallen as well as the first law series by Joe Abercrombie. Both are so brilliant. The former is on a hundred thousand year time scale and involves capricious gods interacting with humans and humanoids. At no point does the author provide backstory, you are left to figure it out. Brilliant read.

Whoa that sounds great. I'm going to order it right now on Amazon. Do you have any other fantasy you recommend strongly?

I recommend Brandon Sanderson's Storm;light Archive very highly... only the first 2 are written, out of a planned 10. But really good. Also The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind is really, really good. I love them so much.

EDIT: Okay I see the two you mentioned are 13 books so that's plenty. I ordered some of them, thanks for the new reading material suggestions! I read some reviews on amazon and they sound great, especially the Malazan Book of the Fallen.

I'm glad we're discussing books. I love reading. Always have. If I have free time and really like the book I'll just read for hours. It's actually a mix of good and bad. I'll love the book but be a bit disappointed finishing it so soon... David Mitchell is a really talented author. Their all good but Number9 Dream is really great. He writes very vividly. Cloud Atlas is a good one too.
