Oh yeah and the horniness... =D =D

Anyway for me 1g is not a large dose, it's actually rather small, I don't really even feel 1g. For me, without tolerance 1.5 to 2g is best. But start lower, try 500mg and increase by 500mg next time if it didn't do it for you. Don't redose more than you plan to take.

But yeah, if you take too much for you, it becomes more intoxicating and produces pretty heavy limb soreness and a strange body feeling... kind of creepy-crawly and you feel really hot inside, and your skin gives off extra heat, and it produces an irritable sort of mood and difficulty staying awake.

Just read your phenibut user guide Xork, really got me interested in checking it out sometime. Sounds like a useful tool for a bit of extra saturday energy after a tiresome week.

True, Tranced. I never try and use it as it's own high so I don't think about that. In regards to dosage, I never go above 2g, and even that isn't too strong or dirty or anything. I usually aim for 1.2-1.5g.

^^To be fair Xorkoth it was a bit more than a gram, I just can't remember now because it was last summer. I know it was more than one and less than two. Either way I was aiming for the recommended 'recreational' dose and hit it. I wasn't expecting much but it was pretty much as you described. It reminded me ever so slightly of the 'recreational' dose of tianeptine I took; you certainly realise why people generally don't bother using them like this. =D

But yeah, I just remember being at my friends and being really chatty and feeling this kind of weird sleazy buzz, and gradually being more and more overwhelmed with horniness. Had the idea of going home for a wank, and obviously did. 8)

My favourite memory of that experience was as I was walking home, I walked passed a street light, and as I did so at the exact moment I passed, it switched off. It made me smile because it was strange. The next week I was walking back in the other direction to the same friends and the light was still off. I thought "I wonder if it will switch back on as I walk by. Probably won't, but that would be weird". So I walked back passed the light in the other direction... and it only fucking flicked back on. =D So odd.

Oh yeah dude totally. Just throwing the reminder out there for anybody thinking about experimenting that higher doses are different, and a bit crappy. :)

The street light thing... one friend of mine in high school seemed to always make it happen, especially when we were high. I remember one time we were walking down a street at night and every one flicked off as we passed under it, perfectly timed. Weird shit.

Man, apartment complexes are surprisingly hostile to non-traditional pets that literally can't damage them. I'm hunting for housing right now and only one complex I've called has been chill about my guinea pig. I'm not even going to mention the ball python, no one rents to us devil-worshiping, parsley-tongue speaking weirdos 8)

Huh that's so weird. You'd think a guinea pig would be the ideal pet, like you said, it's confined to a cage, it's not even roaming about.

He's even potty trained to a degree. I used to let him roam the kitchen when I was cooking and he would go to a corner where I had put a towel down (with his scent on it) to defecate, I literally never once found his poop anywhere outside his cage or designated potty zones. The reptiles are even more ideal, they defecate once every week or two, and rarely leave their enclosures. People hear 'snake' though and immediately think of the beast from the garden of eden and how snakes are the devil or some shit.

I always remember reading about it happening to people on bluelight/erowid, most specifically on DXM for some reason, but it hadn't happened to me until that time. The synchronicities caused by drug use in general; particularly disso/psych use (and especially abuse), are fucking odd. I went through a period of my life after smoking salvia when it just became ridiculous. I really tend to think that it is a combination of both external and internal phenomena. Things can just become synched... and the connotations can be both good and bad.

Unfortunately it's a case of a few people spoiling it for everybody else. Once a rule is in place it's pretty hard to ask anybody to make exceptions or change it, no matter how rationally you can explain your case. Story of the planet I guess...

My dad does a lot of work for a land lady and she absolutely refuses to let people keep pets because of bad experiences in the past. My dad had to replace a living room carpet recently because somebody had kept a dog in there against their contract and it had shit on the carpet, leaving a big stain.

Obviously a guinea pig dropping isn't going to ruin a flat, but the point being, people are rigid.

I can understand the standpoint of a landlord on these matters. I've witnessed such trashiness as well. I just wish I could tell them I'm a neat freak and my pets are in self-contained units. Our rent prospects have been narrowed, can't just ditch our pets.

The one place that seemed apathetic about it seems our best prospect so far. In a quieter place as well which imo is a big plus. I don't wana be woken up at night by engine breaking n' shit.

Whilst everything you said is true, it is also worth remembering that higher doses are certainly more in the realm of straight up drug than nootropic, although not particularly enjoyable. The first time I took it I took a pretty high dose (1g~?), because I wanted to know for certain that it worked. It was kind of like a dirty GHB/GBL type high. I really didn't enjoy it, though I could imagine some people would.

At nootropic doses it makes me very horny, confident and chatty. Benzos do that to me (minus the horny part), but with phenibut you retain your cognitive ability, and probably exceed it, without all the blacking out/acting weird/etc.

This settles it, I'm getting more this week. Been putting it off for ages.

Ditto about the horniness. Weird that <2g seems ideal for you guys. I took 2g yesterday and by the peak I felt like I was on a low dose of MDxx (maybe 80mg equivalent?) without the headspace; so not as good as MDxx overall but my body felt fucking fantastic: warmth, comfort, light tactile enhancement, and a weak amphetamine-like energy buzz. I did space the doses out, though: 1g at around 8:30 and the second around 15:30, so maybe not taking them together kept it from feeling as shitty? I do think the 1g dose I took the day before was perfect for tackling stressful social situations (like the impromptu speech I was asked to give in front of a dozen near-strangers 8() and 500mg would be good for that subtle great-day feeling. My wife, being more sensitive to just about everything, tried 500mg last night and had the chatty, mood-lifting effects--which took me a gram to get to--for a while before drifting into mellowness and sedation, so definitely test the lower ranges first.

Anyways, I'm off it for a few days now after my little experiments. Does anyone else notice the effects carrying over to the next day? I felt super comfy and sleepy after jerkin' the gherkin before bed last night, slept pretty well (until the cat woke me up), and now 20 hours after my last dose I'm still feeling some residual positivity and increased tactile sensitivity. I should mention I've been taking piracetam in attack doses with it every day (tapering down each day), but I don't know how much relation that would have to phenibut's activity.

Rigid and illogical. Like you said, what is a guinea pig going to do? I'm trying to picture someone coming home to the worst kind of damage a cat or dog could cause--destroyed furniture, feces everywhere, unrolled toilet paper strewn throughout the house--only with a guinea pig chillin' in the middle, wriggling its nose the way they do... The image is just so silly I can't fathom how anyone would actually be concerned about that sort of thing. Some places won't even let you keep a turtle. Seriously, wtf? 8)

I hope you find a good place, CG?! My wife and I will have to shop for pet-friendly living options in a couple years. I'm not looking forward to the hike in rent. (We're pretty sure our current place doesn't actually allow pets, even though we didn't see anything about it in our contract. The person who lived in the apartment before us had a cat but from what we understand she was pretty secretive about it, so we followed her example and just...didn't tell anybody when we got our cat >>. Heh.)

Rigid and illogical indeed, welcome to humanity I guess. :(

Keeping it secretive is an option, but unfortunately leaves the flood gates wide open for issues with my ultimate flat rental pet peeve - fucking random maintenance men turning up unannounced.

Killed it at work. Bout to make some dope ass food and smoke a joint or two. I got 150ug of Lucy callin my name for this weekend. Also picking up some WiFi OG! Heard great things about this strain :D

sounds like a great strain for hotboxing.. and what better kind of weekend than the lucy kind?

I slept really poorly, have an appointment in the afternoon to discuss the traineeship I applied for (it appears I am getting the green light), had an appointment just now early in the morning to discuss something like a filed complaint which was also pretty successful as it seems that they'll try to give me an education I applied for a while ago if the traineeship falls through.

If it goes well this afternoon will be a nice note to leave for vacation on.. :)
