Yea I think I'm gonna let him be a semi-outdoot cat which is part of the reason not to declaw plus I don't wanna do that to him hah despite the negatives that come with it. Hopefully little linus will make use of the scratching set up I go him

LOL my parents become even more suspicious when I do good things. Mow my grandmas lawn, walk the dogs, do laundry- so they search my room thoroughly for drugs and flush them down the toilet lol. Really want to move out but always feel like I should maybe stay in school- its kinda one or the other for me.

Cat declawing is really inhumane, IMO. If they escape, they don't have any means to protect themselves from predators. Also, the procedure is really painful because they have to amputate part of the paws in order to take the claw out. Cat declawing FTL.

Completely agree, it's removing an important part of their identity as well as the physical thing.

I think people who do that to cats ought have their teeth removed - under anesthetic of course, we've got be humane now i mean were not animals - right :)

Please report back. I have never heard of such a grandiose dose... And for introspection! I'm sure it will be trip-report material

I dunno, free anesthesia and opiates for pain afterwards, if they gave me a decent set of dentures I might agree to it...(really though, I'm with ya on the not declawing thing though, but I can understand why people want it done, and I'm not gonna judge them for doing it even if I never would. Well, unless I started collecting antique linens or something).

And how's your day going so far PD? I'm doing pretty good, well as good as I get. Gonna go on a walk and drink some bourbon now so see y'all later~

That's what I'm doin, tryna get a better paying job with more dependable hours right now.If I can fix my dilemma in school I can keep doin that while gettin' a place with two of my long time friends. I'm really nervous about these huge changes but it'll force me to be more responsible if I just switch shit up like that.

Well, your telling people to find value in their wants rather than reject them as selfish is certainly good, but if you end up a junkie before your desires realign themselves with your true goals (or as I would put it, take a more mature/rational view on the matter), well then you can end up fucked in the long run as you enter into some self-perpetuating cycle of destructive behavior. Also, I wonder if such an emphasis on pursuing caprice is a rejection of that Buddhist ideal of ending suffering through ending desire...or just a rejection of a rather extremist interpretation of that ideal.

You raise interesting points.

I have two addictions ATM: listening to Terence McKenna audio recordings, and playing fantasy RPGs on my PlayStation emulator.

^ You mean, McKenna's ramblings or video games?

"Reality" is an illusion, so the question is invalid. LOL.

just clicked on the wrong link in the bluelight main page (steroid discussion) and realized theres parts of this forum that ive never been to, and probably never will... i wonder what the people are like in those far away lands...

^ True, steroid discussion looks weird to me too. :)

Also, I like to visit other BL forums from time to time.

.500 of molly. should be fun. going for an introspective experience.

Wow, that's quite a bit of molly. :D I hope you have a great time, man! :) <3

I actually partook in some molly last saturday night for the first time in about two years. It was pretty magical, TBH: I spent the whole time thinking about my family, friends, professors, and other people in my life who are important to me. I was amazed by how many cool people there are in this life, it was actually kind of overwhelming at times-- I found myself thinking "how can it even be possible to come to terms with such a rich, intense world??"

Anyways, it was very therapeutic and it actually changed my whole opinion of MDMA. When used appropriately, it seems to be a wondrously therapeutic compound. I think many people could benefit from MDMA's particular brand of gentle ego-softening, particularly those who are trying to work on more concrete interpersonal issues. Really fine material when used sparingly, IMO.

LOL, I love McKenna tapes; they're absolutely mesmerizing. I consider them a true hidden jewel in this world. Obviously, I take his factual claims with a grain of salt but his talks really speak to my imagination and his unique perspectives always remind me to think about issue from novel perspectives. Plus they just feel like an absolute trip, man. =D Very psychedelic stuff. :D

edit-

p.s.

Cat declawing: B9 does not approve. :D

(*Good to see ya 'round, Benine! :) <3)
