^ Gotta love life's unexpected little blessings! <3

My birthday is August 31st -- the day I fly clear across the country to go to university. =D I'm so excited.

Darn, I'm trying not to do online after 9pm, but here it is almost 11pm...

LOL. Ohh God that is too familiar. Why is it so hard to exert self-control in this respect?!

Happy birthday guys. Hope you've made the most of it and enjoyed it! <3

Gonna have an MDMA night tomorrow with some good mates and the gf. Haven't had a proper roll in ages. May make a weekend of it (who am I kidding? I always do) and have a psychedelic of some sort on Saturday.

I hope everyone has an absolute banger of a weekend. %)

I went 130 mph today on the biggest rollercoaster in the world, tripping balls!

holy shit

after going 130 mph I went up 450 feet into the air and spiraled back down!

seriously it was fucking awesome.

Started off the day with 64 mg allylescaline, then took a blotter of 600 mcg 25c about an hour before kingda ka, wow.

lol after that I seriously felt like a spoiled little kid

^That coaster looks fucking crazy awesome. I'd love to go on it, locally I think the Xcelerator at Knotts Berry farm is the most similar, but slower and under half as tall (205'). Well I guess there's Superman in six flags magic mountain which is 415' tall, but the design is different. I feel gypped.

Man, it is really amazing, what you can achieve by relaxing all efforts, all intentions. It's like it unlocks this amazing subconscious engine of hyper-intelligence.

IME, it's especially evident when I'm playing Counter-Strike, which requires the utmost reflexes, precision, and battleground-intuition to top the scoreboard. Whenever I just utterly detach myself from the game, and literally exert as little effort as I would if I were passively sitting in my chair staring at a blank screen, the "other" unconscious part of my brain takes over and I go on a murderous rampage.

^That's the secret to many games, detaching yourself allowing for better play/pattern recognition. Use this to play some megaman games.

Human life is pretty fractal, the individual coming full circle and starting the next iteration in the pattern in the course of it. That's my observation, trite though it may be, since we have a 9 year old in the house these days. Makes me want to eat some romanesco.

Partner and I got second to last place at the ole card game today, moving up in the world. =D

Nice. You get it mannnn.

fslkdjfa;sklhgfsaldfk;j my dad annoys the fuuuuuuuckkkkk out of me. Either he is some kind of god that is never ever wrong about anything, never ever loses an argument, and knows everything in the universe; 8) OR, he has a major fucking ego problem. Just listening to him speak is as abhorrent as the sound of a jackhammer. It is simply a constant stream of idiotic exaggerations and flat out lies intended to make himself look like a big man, which ironically has quite the opposite effect.

Oh well. At least I'll be outta here soon...

Errr, sorry about that. I had to vent. :o

^I hope you have fun. I was going through some old thread digging up info, and there was an account by your name without the 2. What's the story behind that?

People are jerks, what can you do? Whenever I go to family gatherings, I have to listen to all kinds of right wing conspiracy theories, most based around the idea that our president is a secret socialist/Muslim/non-citizen who is destroying America, and that the man who forged his birth certificate is in gitmo.

OMG, that's my dad too! LMAO.

Hahaha... I often get annoying earworms on psychedelics. Seemingly never while sober. Right now I am coming up on some ayahuasca and I have an annoying pop song stuck in my head...

Wow, ayahuasca is cool. It seems like pretty much any sensible person should be using ayahuasca. It's just an agent of positive change, plain and simple. I mean, even if you're an evil genius, you would want ayahuasca, because it would give you the clarity of mind to hone your evil selfish schemes all the more!

(Which reminds me, I have heard that some South American tribes perceive certain other tribes as using ayahuasca for dark purposes - black magic. Makes sense.)

TAC! have a good one!

always thought that writing on bluelight would be the last thing on my list if i ever went for ayahuasca...

^ T'was a good one indeed. Thanks for the well wishes! <3

I like keeping PD updated. Only on the comeup and comedown though. During the peak I had silent darkness.

man, theres something about mushrooms... always such a wholesome trip somehow. even when it has its sad parts... even the scares,, somehow they make sense in the end. :)

I find I get my best grades when I don't worry so much about the consequences of getting a bad grade. Going into an exam without caring so much and thus reducing the anxiety involved makes my thoughts so much more clear and I do much better on the exam.

I still study a lot beforehand but I find I've gotten to a point where I just accept what happens and don't view A's as a necessity. If I don't get into grad school it's not the end of the world. I'm actually thinking of joining the army after I get the bachelor degree if I don't get into med/grad school. With a science degree I could be a medic, armourer, all sorts of good officer positions. I'm also okay with getting called into combat. It is relaxing when you loosen up your expectations of your life.

You mean you didn't know that, it's common knowledge dude. ;)

As long as he's not afraid to go toe to toe with the Ruskies and Chinks :P

-----------------

I was reading some PD Social from '09 last night. Xorky was dealing with the piano scammer, I was talking about travel plans that never came to fruition, and (as a green mod) giving another young traveler advice on sneaking small quantities of drugs through airport security/customs. Willow talking about the Aussie outback, Solipsis talking about how beautiful Swedish women were (and how he didn't get lucky, lol :D).

Ah, pies were cooling softly on the windowsill.

Precisely. This is the Theme of 2012 for me. :D Do not let your anxieties force you into trying to artificially make your life better.

It reminds me of an image I saw on Tumblr the other day. Sadly I can't find it again, but it was just the words "DON'T FORGET TO BE AWESOME" in a crazy purple font against a weird patterned background. It was hilarious, because it perfectly symbolized the absurdity of trying to make your life better. Why not print out that image and stick on your fridge? That way, every time you see it, you can get back to BEING AWESOME. As if we all have the capacity to deliberately be totally awesome, but we just keep forgetting to do so.

Wow, dude, that's a pretty amazing and honorable perspective. :)

Man, I'm really starting to become a believer in ayahuasca. You know all that crazy religious fervor that some folks have about ayahuasca? Starting to look pretty well deserved.
